I was disappointed in this film because they made it look so comical early on. Then it became quite dark, but they should've still added more comedy to fit with the flow of the film. I liked it in the end, but still think it could've hhandled things better.
As much as I love Chae Soo-Bin, I am not a fan of this movie! The twist made it better, but seriously made her character more twisted than him. That being said, will we get a sequel where they all four meet up on Jeju? Lol
Everyone had a great ending except for He Doo and Yi Jin. It was sad that Yi Jin left his family to go back to He Doo only to end up in the same job that made her mom neglect her.
The fact that we fell in love with these leads is why their breakup hurt so much and that's a testament to the writer. The whole cast, writing and soundtrack were wonderful.
I found myself annoyed by the adult He Doo, because why would she not remember the special beach trip they had? Was it because she didn't want to share with her daughter, or was it too painful to remember Yi Jin in that way and better forgotten.
I think that she never really found peace until she read what Yi Jin wrote in her final journal. I only wish that when she walked in that tunnel and said her words to Yi Jin, the adult him would've been there to hear them.
After getting used to the age difference between Park Min Young and Song Kang I enjoyed the more than most. The supporting cast had interesting storylines as well. I also found the weather discussions to be interesting, while many might not have.
I agree; when the 14th episode began my heart sank. I the last 2 episodes hoping they were tricking us somehow. As I think about it, Hee Do and Yu Rim's story was so much better than the romance she had with Yi Jin. Hee Do was the one who pushed for the romance, then he changed jobs to be with her and then was upset that he didn't share his pain with her?! I was hoping at the end when she walked through the tunnel thatcthe older him would be there, but no such luck.
I'm on the 6th ep and I agree about the age gap! Song Kang is great in Sweet Home, but in this he seems too young for Park Min Young! She is gorgeous and great in What's wrong with Secretary Kim. She can act, but in this show she's coming across as unmotivated. I too am watching for the supporting, but I hope the leads get better.
Love the show so far, but episode 6 I found annoying. Oh Yoon's daughter is a pain and Hye Jin should not have gotten involved. They could've gotten she and Oh Yoon's daughter together to talk a much better way.
I made the mistake of watching Crash landing on you first and liked the cast so much, I looked for them in other shows. I found Something in the Rain with Son Ye Jin and the ML was great in While you were Sleeping, so I started it. Though I liked the first 5 eps, I sensed a bad ending, so I read some spoilers. I will probably drop this show and save my time for better shows.
If you liked this movie that much good for you, but I felt my time was wasted. The cast was great and the story was good, but in the end, the guy's sacrifice was wasted because she just killed herself.
Started watching because of Kim Go Eun; I like her a lot. 1st ep was convoluted, but interesting. Amazed at how many haters watch Kdramas just to rag on em. If you don't like, don't watch
Im on episode 5 and a little weirded out by him knowing her as a child and then being in love with her. Its a running plot point for Goblin as well. Is anyone else feeling uneasy about it? Other than that, i love the action and the cast is great. I do feel like the second lead, Rang, wouldve been played well by the second lead from Record of Youth. Sorryim horrible with names. Anyone else feel the same?
