I just randomly decided to watch this, didn't really expect anything. But man was this surprisingly entertaining. If you are willing to just take it in and dont think too much about realism it is a really enjoyable watch.
Wow, just finished watching this. I went into this without any expectations since it is only 45 minutes long. But now i wish it had multiple episodes. It is so heartwarming and such an interesting perspective. I feel like this setting would have been good enough for multiple episodes. The pain and difficulty in life for the characters not stemming from their personal discomfort but rather from the fear of hurting / destroying their relationships with their loved ones, made the characters so likeable and relatable. Really a nice short movie, while dealing with serious topics it still always spins it into a hopeful bright way.
I have become a huge fan of Ami Touma and am now watching a lot of her stuff atleast all the ones that are subbed. I am really excited to see her upcoming roles and her growth. Its nice that she got a main role in Chihayafuru. I really want to see the Papa to Nacchan no Obento series with english subs, but i dont have access to drama-otaku, and the registration for summer is already over. I dont even know if i will get into the next registration cycle since i dont use any social media actively D: Like i only have one friend in real life, what would i share online and have an active account for ? D: But if i am lucky since she is becoming more popular her movies and series might get subbed by streaming sites or other subbers. Also i weirdly want to see her play a role in an action movie.
This is a just a very nice feel good drama. And i do think Nishijima Hidetoshi is just perfect for roles like these (just as in Riding a Unicorn) he just has this energy to lift other people up. And i do like how he supports everyone. I enjoyed watching this despite having nothing to do with classical music. But the music is just a topic to help people come together support each other and grow.
I liked this version more than the korean one. Yes it is a bit more toned down, but that is also what makes it better. The characters are just multiple times better human beings in this one than in the korean version and just more likable in general.
