I think it was around 2007 or 2008... When I started watching, each drama episode was split up into 5 parts and films were sometimes up to 12 parts! So you had to load all those parts in different tabs to be able to watch an episode smoothly. It really changed now, because there is so much available and especially Korean drama is subbed the very next day. When people get impatient because the subs take a few days.. they have no idea how it used to be and should appreciate the great variety of shows available on the net haha ;)
