Wow I’m really happy how they’re following the manga to a T! Even tho there were no basketball nor water hose scene,it still makes the story great.Love it 👏🏽. It’s understandable why kouhei is shut in, cos he was treated as a disabled, an outcast…even if people wanted to get to know him, he doesn’t give them a chance cos they’ll back of the min they find out he has hearing aid, then he met taichi who’s outright blunt.
Wow wow!!! When I first watched the movie & read the manga. I kept saying they should make this into a drama numerous times cos there were a LOT of things the movie didn’t delve into & voila!! I’ve been heard. Can’t wait!!!

Like ffs I was yelling at Tanaka telling him to shut up & let ryota speak 🙄🙄. He kept interrupting him, when he could’ve heard ryota’s feelings right there!!! Then again shit like this happens, cos the person is too scared to know your answer or feels like they’d burden you by you saying yes when you don’t like them,so they choose to avoid it 🤦🏽♀️. But in ryota’s case he DOES like Tanaka, only if he had listen to what ryota wanted to say, they’d be good but then again I get it,cos that’s how it is in the manga too.
Uuggh at this point Asami is going to lose yuki again 🤦🏽♀️. Idk why he STILL hasn’t come clean about his feelings for yuki, maybe he’s waiting til they’re done filming but listen, the more you hesitate, the further away your love will be 🙄. Idk but I feel like he heard yuki,when he asked if he liked him but continued to play sleeping beauty 🙄. Also, you can easily say yes when you’re asked about the person you can’t get over & the one you STILL like to others but not saying a damn thing to the VERY person you’ve been chasing/looking for soo long who’s RIGHT infront of you? Had no idea there was even a S2 nor was it coming out this week. Hopefully this season is an intriguing one, cos s1 was good til the middle part plus them adding unnecessary romance to it, which made me stop watching 🥴. Hope they focus more on the cases,twists etc,plus I see some Thai collab there too 😊. Please be good season 2 🙏🏾 .
Lmao see, normally I don’t like love triangles nor 2ML or whatever starting some shit BUT!!!..lol I absolutely love Yamase’s character, my guy came in starting some shit all of a sudden with that HOT body of his. Him calling shirasaki, yuki, getting close to him & all is making me 👏🏽 for him,he smooth with it. While Asami is seething with jealousy but keeping a calm face, while we all know he HATES another man trying to steal the VERY guy he likes & worked hard to get from him. Just look at him storming off during yamase & yuki’s kiss scene, yeeting a dazed yuki away from yamase & even crushing that poor paper cup before throwing it violently in the 🗑️😩😩.
YH,poor baby thought JW didn’t love him like he did but not knowing JW actually DID love him & it was NEVER an unrequited love. Maybe on Seol’s end yes! But not between yoon ho & Jae woon. I’ve watched this movie a couple of times & it’s such a beautiful yet sad story 😖. Shout out to my girl Seol, she NEVER discriminated nor hated yoon ho but rather help him to meet his crush. I’m just a bit mad that Jae woon came too late, Seol was basically giving him hints! Like c’mon 🤦🏽♀️,hurry up & come back to see YH one last time before he’s gone but he didn’t get it. I know JW would feel the pain & heartbreak of losing the love of his life & best friend, if care is not taken, he’ll end up divorcing his new wife. I also love how JW touched YH’s lips while he was asleep & put a flower next to him. He was loving him secretly too🥲.
Rewatching this for the third time & it’s evident that Shane LOVES Jonathan, you don’t have sex with your best friend just like that. Shane was just a coward & selfish, he didn’t want to lose Jonathan so he used the whole “best friend” ruse to keep Jonathan close 🥴. To the person who gave us the closure in the comments, thank you. I WAS right all along, sad thing is the boys didn’t end up together & one of them dying in the novel 😔. Carrie & Shane were not the end game either… Carrie KNEW Shane loves Jonathan,heck even more than her but STILL dated Shane knowing all this 🤦🏽♀️. Shane on the other hand was just dumb af! He didn’t deserve Jonathan & I’m glad he realized the most important person in his life is no more & he wouldn’t see him again,nor see his smile,warmth & him humming songs. Such a beautiful & sad story
I might have said this before…probably 🤔. But Chen shi has tried to leave on several occasions & guess who ALWAYS coaxed him to stay? Yep, Li Bing! You may think he’s just “there” , he acts like a “servant” or doesn’t have any purpose🥴, BUT! LB NEEDS him,he WANTS him to stay. Selfish? Yes but he did it cos he’s lonely. Chen shi was the ONLY one who never discriminated against him, wasn’t scared nor pushed him away…. Plus CS showed him kindness, gave him warmth & affection, which LB craved for BADLY. Whenever CS is sad,LB gets sad too or when CS is in trouble,he drops everything to save his best friend. When CS DID leave, LB was hesitant but still let him go despite him being sad even on the verge of tears & then when CS came back, just look how happy LB was. Plus the story is HEAVILY centered around Chen shi🤷🏽♀️.
I feel like asami might be in love with shirasaki, probably have been since school days, but is being cautious as to not scare him off. Asami suggesting they become a couple to get into the role might be a ruse to slowly make shirasaki fall for him 🤔. While shirasaki on the other hand has an EXTREME low self esteem & lack of affection, he belittles himself, when things slightly goes wrong. Hopefully he regains confidence & realizes someone has been giving him warmth & love all this while 🙂.
I’m actually glad how they portrayed the awkwardness after kazuhito’s confession. Ryota didn’t give in all of a sudden, but rather trying to figure out his feelings,showing how this applies in real life….especially if y’all have been childhood friends. But damn, kazuhito yelling HARUNA?! Getting all jealous & possessive got me like 😏. He’s basically saying hands off buddy.
Spirealm is from a BL novel, but you can clearly tell RNZ is in love with LJS in the drama, so that’s different. This drama has a strong bromance/friendship even soulmate type of vibe. You have a cold ML & the bubbly 2ML with PTSD who slowly overcomes it with the help from the ML, while the ML shows his emotional side to only Su Yun(2ML) & also gets emotional whenever Su Yun is sad.
