We got 2 shitty fathers ruining the lives of their kids, without thinking of the consequences & effects it may have on them. Then we have the 2 kids from two different men who finds solace in each other despite one being very stubborn, whiles the other doesn’t mind but keeps caring for him. YD finds comfort in SH but refuse to admit it, while Soo Hyuk is basically tired of everything but STILL keeps moving, he’s bottled all his emotions cos yeah, who’s going to listen to him? Which shoulder will he cry on, while he vents? I hope these 2 boys somehow get their happy ending, cos they both deserve it. They’ve been through too much.

YD’s father is abusive, so he runs away any chance he gets. But always ends up going back home cos his friend been snitching of his whereabouts. While SH’s father is a dead beat who causes trouble,even went to prison while SH ALWAYS cleaned up his mess. He even hid his mom from him, dunno if you’ve watched recent episodes cos the dad was asking him why he even hid his mom from him. It’s pretty clear what the fathers have been doing/done to their kids to make life difficult for them.
It does get stronger, off course during the earlier episodes ZR had just started working at the hospital, so he’s closed off but SY’s personality softened him after the revelation of his fathers suicide, he became more opened to SY & also him being the first person SY took to his secret surgery room. The bond gets VERY tight from ep 9-10 going.
Also, YD has been reluctant to leave SH’s side cos he keeps coming back even if he tells SH, he doesn’t want to be there. Soo hyuk’s father is one shitty man, such a bastard to put soo much burden on your son 😠. I like how SH was finally able to release his suppressed emotions, cos shit like that can drive you mad. Yoon dae on the other hand wants NOTHING to do with his dad,which is understandable since he’s an abusive prick. He finds comfort in soo hyuk. I partially blame SH’s mom too, cos despite what her son’s going through, she kept contact with her ex husband,trying to help him out even tho he’ll NEVER change 🤦🏽♀️. To me, it seems YD’s been in love with SH for a long time but he’s also filled with conflicted feelings. He gets mad at SH for helping him/letting him stay with him, but at the same time doesn’t want to leave him. Two broken men finding comfort in each other.
