lol it seems those complaining about ZR & SY taking up all the credit, fail to realize that they ARE the main leads, not support role but MAIN! It’s based on the author’s work(they might’ve added some things in the drama that’s not in the book). We’re only 16 episodes in, there might be some cases that they may fail to save a patient so relax.Besides, this is just a medical drama, some of yall haven’t watched House, good doctor, Black Paen(J-medical drama). If you’re frustrated about this drama, then don’t watch it. 😊
I’m baffled by this low ratings 🥴. Such a good drama that ACTUALLY touches on REAL LIFE topics. Then again, mdl ratings have always been a shitty one,can’t trust them anyway 🤷🏽♀️. There’re countless fluffy,cheesy dramas with high ratings but give a low rating to good dramas like this, just because they’re not in lala land, holding hands, skipping bipbop with bright atmosphere backgrounds don’t mean it’s bad. Lemme gate-keep this drama, in fact I’m going to watch it for the 4th time cos it’s THAT good.
Looks like it’s XY’s turn to be mad at WQ in the next episode. He’s been hiding his illness & it was only a matter of time before XY finds out. I feel like the kiss scene will happen in ep 10.

Gotta give it up for Le Ge, he could’ve easily killed WQ & XY, but he tested their courage & in the end let them go. He saw both WQ & XY will die for each other. That kind of bond & loyalty is rare. But yeah I really wanted to shove the other gangster’s head up where the sun don’t shine 😠. Pissing me of on a fine Saturday 😠🙄.
Man, my heart broke for Su yun when he was crying,telling Zheng ren the reason why he doesn’t like the other surgeon. You could see how sad ZR looked,even on the verge of tears.
Looks like Tanaka has had a crush on ryota for years now, so it’s no surprise he doesn’t have a girlfriend. While ryota on the other hand is clueless & wants to help with finding out why, Tanaka doesn’t have a gf when he’s the perfect boyfriend material. Also, I like how attractive both ML’s are, one is adorable & the other has that handsome boyfriend material vibe.
Also, we need to remember that stories like this are happening in REAL life. Shitty parents,abusive parents etc. you don’t always expect fluffy stories whether BL or not. This drama is mixing both the past & present. The boys met in their adolescent years, both are suffering. One needs love & the other one is trying to atleast care for the step brother despite his own situation…dunno why some people seem to not get the story 🤔. Yoon D is mad at SH for what he said out of anger a couple of years ago(yes he’s STILL hurt about it). He was finally beginning to feel needed,cared for by SH.
Love the chemistry between ZR & SY. They click very well on & off screen, love the strong bromance & how ZR sped off when he heard SY passed out. SY is very intelligent but has a hard time getting through his ptsd. ZR needs him, he knows & believes in SY & how he’s the only one who works well with his pace. ZR doesn’t even need to say it & SY has either done it or finished his sentence.
Honestly, I liked the first two episodes. I don’t think it’s boring at all. Yes it’s BL, yes they’re step brothers BUT! This show is slow burn with some dark elements. The flashbacks is how the two stepbrothers met,then to the present. Yoon dae suffering from abuse from his dad & Soo hyuk working 2,no 3 jobs, being the breadwinner of the family, thinking of dropping outta school just to keep working, has a shitty father & mother 🤦🏽♀️… he keeps all his frustration bottled up while YD is coping by drinking & 🚬. This is NOT your typical BL tho,which I like, cos we can’t always be having fluff 🥴. Seems to me YD was moved when SH was putting ointment on his face(even cupped his face & said he was handsome) dunno feels like he might’ve had a crush on SH back then(probably still does). Yoon dae is lashing out because SH said hurtful things to him when he threw out the apples SH’s father brought. Yoon D may look nonchalant but he’s very fragile inside. Ep 3 looks like SH reached his breaking point. It may not be for everyone & that’s fine.
Heh, I remember watching this, when it came out in 2020,I was glued to my tv, watching & loving the banter/chemistry between CFT & SXR, I’m like just kiss already lmao, I even read the novel cos I was hooked! No matter how pissed SXR made CFT, he kept coming back to him 🤭. Whenever SXR was in trouble, CFT was always there for his man but then again SXR could throw a mean punch 🤛,got CFT looking at him like woow that’s my man(well duhhh, SXR is from the streets, so wassup? 😏). Recently saw the actors in a tv show & you could tell how great their chemistry is on & off screen omg!!
Oooo ep 1-23 now has 40+ min, including the intro & good subs. Yaaay!!! Waiting for the rest of the episodes to merge, so that I can watch it again ☺️.
