Love how ZR was trying to dig his way in to save Su Yun, lifting heavy rocks & all. My guy was completely out of it, he wouldn’t even listen to anyone. It had to take the other Dr from beida to convince him to put on gloves 🧤(protect his hands) then went back to digging.

I think it’s because of his childhood, how his father committed suicide right infront him, he grew to be cold, distant & blunt. He was happy when both of his parents were alive but as time goes by,him meeting Su Yun is making him relax a bit, as far as I’ve seen, he’s very emotional towards Su yun but the opposite towards others.

It’s even too late for that, if there were to be romance it should’ve happened earlier 🤷🏽♀️. Plus the director is the same one for Justice in the dark so it’s more of a bromance there 😉.
ZR could’ve wished for anything during the shooting stars 🌠, but he rather wished for Su Yun to conquer his PTSD so that he can accomplish many more things with him. He even told him, he’ll wait for him. Also liked how Su Yun was protecting ZR, by saying he doesn’t want him to end up like his dad,he won’t allow it..he’s going to protect him,that’s why he kept refusing to live stream the conjoined twins operation. I know ZR was touched by his words but then he ended up being hurt when SY said if you’re going to live stream it,then count me out of all your surgeries. ZR’s why was soo low & shaky cos he’s hurt, not to talk of the long pause before he said do whatever you want to Su Yun.
When ZR & SY had the disagreement about the live stream,then SY told ZR he won’t be part of his team or surgeries anymore,he doesn’t want to know or see anything really hurt ZR… he took a long pause before saying do whatever you want. Man ZRwas hurt.
The more I watch the episodes, the more I’m convinced that Yoon dae had(probably still has) a crush on soo hyuk. He’s hurt by SH’s words since he’s fragile at heart, so he holds grudge against him. Soo Hyuk on the other hand reached out to YD when their parents got together(don’t think they were even married,planning to? Maybe..but they were dating). SH cared for an abused kid, gave him warmth that he yearned for and that changed yoon dae’s perspective of him. But then YD’s father said some slick shit which prompted YD to throw out the apples SH’s father sent. SH finds out & said some hurtful words out of frustration. SH later comes back from work,only to see YD leaving angry(cos he’s hurt). SH is carrying a LOT of baggage, even tho the marriage between his mother & YD’s dad didn’t happen, he STILL cared for yoon dae. The flashbacks are easy to understand. I won’t even call them step brothers,almost? Yes but not anymore.
If you think the gangster’s scene was unnecessary then booohoo, if you think their romance is too slow boohoo tomato TOMATO. This is priest we're talking about ffs lmao, she delves in the details then slowly build up the romance, that way you’ll have a strong sense of connection to these characters & their lives. You think you’re impatient? Try Sha Po Lang, you’ll be more frustrated there lmao.
