She doesn’t care about him just like many women back then, it’s all arranged marriages for power. So If she keeps him happy, he ‘ll treats her well and she easily the becomes the future empress😭

It’s so rare for a cdrama to be good after a crazy episode like 16 but it’s still really good and the plot isn’t focused on the birth switch anymore. ALSO we strike against the producers because of this one episode a day thing. #SAVEBITAO

My point was that he doesn’t have to beg and she doesn’t have to either because they both did nothing wrong. Also not an ego boost but it would be very out of character for Wei rao. I dont see why she’d do that…

Uhm whatever this means. Ur clearly not watching the show with understanding considering she left because of his family’s conversation and concerns about her. If anyone should beg it SHOULD indeed be him and I’ll stand on that. Not that I’m saying he has to but if someone should it should be him. He didn’t do anything wrong but neither did she, leaving now was the best for both of them and stopped the family’s complaints.

She technically has to be a good hw at some point or she lowers their family reputation. Personally I love the divorce plot like because it shows she’s just as strong on her own. They’ll remarry soon but not for now. Why yall want a strong independent woman to beg for a man, she isn’t doing that and I hope there isn’t some silly chasing arc which doesn’t fit her character and goal.

I know which is why I don’t hate this plot, it’s not some stupid misunderstanding like they usually do, it’s more like they both know what is best for eachother now.

I love the divorce plot, this drama is definitely trying out everything other dramas haven’t.

After what just happened in episode 16 of where the mask ends I don’t think I’m in the best shape to start this drama😭😭

Episode 16 left me in shambles, I don’t see how it’s going to go on for 14 more episodes without getting boring, when they already did their big big BIG one in this episode…

They’re definitely twins, twins was a omen back then so I assume they plotted to kill one of them, the maid seems to have had a change of heart or she was paid off to switch the babies, so the twin sister survived.
