I watched all 12 episodes and in the end Jang ji soo did end up in same bed as the man that kill her father,Please…
I guess I'm too kdrama coded that it doesn't bother me anymore but the point was that the guy wasn't passively repenting but actively correcting a mistake he's neither legally or morally (you can argue the moral part) accountable for.

Honestly, it's a wonder In Ok and the grandmother didn't get along better in the past considering they're both…
Everyone but our leads are horrible people (excluding the teacher and YD uncle) - we knew that early on when everyone and their mother was trying to force Yeondo to remove the baby and when they were all fine with TK marrying someone he didn't like. His mom is a big shocker in the way she's treating YD but you need to understand the YD was lying to her the entire time, made a ruckuss at the wedding that she can't go in public anymore and then had her think that it was her grandkid the whole time. TK's mom is not fixed on blood she still treats her husband's grandson as her own but the betreyal was huge.

If anything YD's mom is still the worst for me. She never respected a single discion YD made. DongWook isn't any better the least he could do as a teenage dad who got the whole family to help is not "act on his thoughts" not matter how right we think he is.

Just to make it clear Howoo (the main lead) is not the killer's son.

Jisoo was already pregnant with the villain's grandson when her father died.
She raised her son without the father ever knowing he existed.
Han Seungjo wasn't a co-murder he got bypassed by the villain at his mother's funeral.
He repented for not being able to stop his father by putting his father in jail and cutting ties with him the minute he know of the actual murder.

The director thought he didn't have a choice; you can judge his character as you like. I agree with you to a certain degree.

To me, I could understand him a little more when I saw how brainwashed those scholarship kids were in following the villain in every move. Nobody actually forgave him but they realized it's no use hating him when the big shot is someone else. Esp the other accountants who in seconds found themselves compromising their values little by little until they start doing corrupt acts.

I finally figured out how to reply! This review contains assumptions about the show and doesn't reflect on true events in the show as of the final episode. There's no way that this review is written by a person who watched 8 episodes of the show. By episode 8 you'll know that these assumptions are false.

I think with this drama there's no female lead as the concept is irrelevant. Romance is more of fan service than a storyline element which is why I don't think it's fair to judge Yeon Ah (a supporting character) as a female lead. Ji Soo is closer to that and is more developed since the character naturally has a goal, a clear struggle, and huge emotional baggage since the start of the show.

Yeon Ah is more of a plot device to help us understand the ropes and relay information.

Nevertheless, I agree characters in the show weren't as developed. I think this is a side effect of the new trend of shortening dramas to 12 episodes. I have been noticing this in quite a few shows I watched this year. There isn't enough time to build 'multiple' characters and use them for the storyline at the same time.

Another thing I noticed, like many other field-specific dramas this one had the occasional terminology explanation written on the left side which is never translated. I hope one day that part is included in the translations.
I think there was a whole lot of dialogue explanation in the show versus a recent example of a medical drama like Dr. Romantic 3. I found myself able to follow if a focus a little. The difference i think is that the terminology and concepts weight differed. Here accounting is the main plot of the show while in other dramas you don't need to fully understand the terms to follow. This is just a personal opinion.

I see - I do think I wasn't focusing on the lines with this one as much. I agree the walking away scene wasn't necessary nor was let's look at sunset but hey we got poster couple shoots off of that so i forgot about it haha.

ikr i think the real struggle for viewer is that we all want to ship him with the people who could make him happy instead of GJM who keeps lip tied about her true feelings but shouts out all the insignificant and false emotions.
She's making me realize that no matter what disappointment someone I trust causes me, I will never shut up about it. At the very least if they wronged me they should know and feel bad about the right things.

ngl at this point I hope Junha comes around when he learns he's Real's father. I obv don't want him to marry yeondo but be somewhat of a cool father figure that shows up every now and then.
The reason is he's actually not bad besides being selfish, if he were to like his son for being his son then that would be a good thing. So far, he has shown that he is committed to his work and has shown a good work ethic he also has the skills to back his confidence and somewhat of a comment sense.
I don't understand Sejin and won't tbh even as a kid she's so self-entitled. Her biggest trauma is having to call the people she used to have as uncle and grandma by their office titles, but really she could've just tried to let go a bit.
It's always funny when rich-turned-poor kids blame their parents; like the reason why you were rich in the first place was them. Get a grip.

No amount of great acting and stellar production can elevate bad screenwriting. Dialogs are meaningless and boring.…
Maybe I wasn't focusing on writing as much, but are you sure? I thought the secrartery character was halirous. I am gonna try to be more critical with episode 4, but I just watched the first 3 episodes and I couldn't stop playing them one after the other.
I can't call it impressive with lines since I can't name a great line that stuck. Can't think of any bad lines, I wonder which were the ones that made a bad impression?

Title King the Land Spoiler
Things I am seeing for the first time or in a long time in a drama:
- A female lead who likes clubbing with friends. Usually, this is the best friend or a secondary couple character who happens to be a troublemaker 95% of the time.
- A female lead who doesn't only work hard but doesn't shoot for the stars either. She's following her dreams but within reason and human limits. The promotion feels sincere in 7 years she's yet to be more than an employee of the month/year.
- A non-cheating soon-to-be ex-boyfriend. Although we don't know how their relationship will end, the red flags are all in a different direction.
- All the moments where the leads could have met when they only passed by the same places. All the moments where I thought here they meet and one of them (possibly fl) embarrasses the shit out of themselves. Those moments pass, why? Because the characters' personal struggles are as important as their love story.

Things that were a breath of fresh air:
- ML falling for FL first, is always welcome.
- ML actually smiling since before we know it, he can smile he doesn't know it.
- ML connection to the hotel, the pink hotel is adorable.
- The flight attendants couple. I like them so much, I wondered where the younger guy-older girl couple were and I'm glad it's just a cute not over-the-top storyline (fingers crossed)
- Meeting the duty-free friend husband right away!
Enough for now, I am also happy Kim Woojin is singing one of the OSTs and one that plays on an important scene (them on the bike ride in ep 3). I like his voice and I like OSTs so I'm glad he's doing more of those.

Title My Perfect Stranger Spoiler
Overall I really enjoyed this drama but the last two episodes were a tad anti-climatic for me. But it's still…
after quite a few dramas this year with shit hit the fan on the last episode I loved the tying loose ends on the last episode here. I have missed that in dramas recently.
I think HaeJoon could have just uncovered his dad's crimes after meeting yoonyoung who's trying to know more on why her mother died in that place. So many possiblities on the reasons behind the future events. What we know for sure is that the killer has a thing for women who read because of his mother, just like some serial killers have a thing for red nails, blonde hair etc...

The time machine only travels by year and transports you to the same day in the corresponding year.
I assumed it might be that it's always been this way from the last scene. It would have been more convinet if it was but it make sense why they couldn't loop and go back to before anyone died instead of going to the future.
Any idea what happened on May 16?

MDL should have a follow feature so when a new drama is announced/airs of the actors we follow we get a notification! I can name many s supporting character actors that I am waiting to see in an even better role but I know I'll lose track of them by the time their next work is out

the fire could be a false alarm teaser trick? I mean Dr. Kim had bigger dreams than doldam that he mentioned early on in the season. The disaster unit, I would love to see that in a new season! Then we won't have to stick to doldam setting and we can get a refresh with the doctors, those who follow Dr. Kim (SWJ and Intak) and those who like the hosiptal backdrop?

Kang Dong Ju is back and suddenly everybody is acting so dumb? Gosh I can't with CEJ and the Trauma staff. They…
Right!!! She's defintly wrong for not calling Dr. Kim before operating in a different hospital! There are things called procedures and if she's gonna break them she needs to at least have the backing of one of the hospital heads. DJ words all made sense (the ones he shared with everyone) & nurses are honestly being stupid there how can they leave their entire station?
As a working person, I don't expect myself to agree 100% with my boss but regardless there's a limit to how much I can argue and the ways I choose to do that.
If CEJ was working in a different hospital would she dare to do the same? They are all looking down KDJ because he is their school senior which is exactly contrasting what CEJ said about him looking down on them cause they're his juniors. I was just thinking last week how much I like this couple over season 1's so I am very annoyed that this is how they choose to protect the hospital and patients.
