Okay after the last episode I'm pretty sure that Dong Ma has genuine feelings for Pi Young. So I'm not worried about him wavering but I am definitely worried about it being a suffocating relationship for her. He seems too controlling. Plus i noticed how he keeps insisting on her quitting and she somehow ended up losing her position in that project around the same time.

That's true, he does care for her and that got shown through his reaction today but he doesn't seem to be a great friend generally. This seems to be a very realistic portrayal of friendships in which one person takes the other for granted until they actually have to worry about losing them.
