I have to say it's a different situation between weilian and Mr li, weilian is his brother and a best friend he relied on, someone who in those 3 years he told his deepest secret and how he wanted to find his brother bit, he showed his darkest vulnerable side to that friend and even liked him to the point that he listed him as his inheritor when he could have just gave everything to zhou you wen whom he knew for he longest time, so it's a matter of trust here he trusted weilian as for Mr li he's just another human being to him who's not special or anything but for the sake of the freedom of the poor people in haidong he has to keep him alive (but with what he did today he can count his days), now his trust was broken we can't expect the man to act like nothing happened between them cause in his mind it seems weilian was monitoring him from the shadows enjoying his suffering about his obsession with a brother he knows nothing but the name of, to be honest l'd be angry too

Can some please explain to me where the third family is , half way through the drama, other than a few mentions here and there we haven't seen an actual person from them.
Also l'm a bit confused for the mu family is it the inheritor of the stone that doesn't live past 30 or is it the whole clan and if it's the latter who is mu lihua referring to as her family members because she should be the only person living in mu family and while still on her why was she acting like her bones are folding or something, isn't their downside going berserk from using the stone and does she really control people's minds l haven't seen her do that since she appeared until now (ep 15).
Lastly l think the writer overlooked something here in an earlier episode while reporting to superintendent chi, li yinliang said shén zhi heng has been in haidong for 3 years, if so how did he meet and get acquainted with the young yingliang because it hasn't been three years for yingliang especially since miss jin is now a young lady, his subordinate is 30 and with what we have seen he is older than him, l just think that was inconsistent and now it doesn't make sense

His character is annoying for sure but he isn't the only beautiful actor who has played a negative role in series, he needs diversity in his work can't always pick the good righteous guys people will start calling his work boring if he keeps playing the same type of characters everytime

It broke my heart to see shen zhiheng crying because he killed people and for being humiliated, l really don't understand the logic behind Mr li wanting revenge because he's the one who started the violence and when shen does spare him even though he should kill him he still talks like he's the victim mmmm. I do understand where miss mu is commingle from and her wanting to survive by using shén zhiheng but the net and everything else that followed was to much cause she has already confirmed he is the one she's looking for why harm him further. I know it's still early but li has to go😂🙄

Ohkay l thought it was a remake all this while

I will careful say that while l enjoyed the drama l do feel that they have ruined it for me l watched this expecting a beauty inside remake, the investigation did make it more interesting and gave more flesh to the story but l also feel like they failed to capture the male lead's relationship with his family like the original, in the Kdrama his sister hated him because she felt he didn't like her and didn't consider her family so when it's revealed that it was a misunderstanding on her part because he couldn't recognize her it was emotional and that's when they started becoming close and when those men made her pour them some wine her brother came and took revenge for her which she disliked cause se thought he was being hypocritical. As for te fl l don't know at first here they made her seem badass, like being able to fend for herself in a fight but as the episodes progressed she didn't even try to resist instead of some "let me go" here and there in the kdrama she was badass through out while her shape-shifting was a weakness when someone else outside her friends discovered it she threatened them with it which was frightening for the other party. All l have to say is that Jiang xinbai and suoluo's misunderstanding wasn't as well done as it was in the Kdrama because for me while they were other memorable scenes in the drama that was my best plus in the original fl's mum didn't know until she was dying that her daughter had that kind of disease because she changed and couldn't come back to her original self until like during the funeral. I'm disappointed really
