So, I just finished watching the 4 specials and now I'm confused...I thought the first three were sweet with the reunion and all, but then I came to the last one, which I didn't find with eng sub, and I was like "so there's no closure, after all?", because it seems it was all just a dream, right? So, Hai Qing didn't come back in the first place and Yan Fei is still waiting for him? Then, what is the point of these specials, if not to prepare for a hypothetical continuation? Or will there be more specials? I don't get it...
Just let me say that I needed more of the step-brothers couple and in general more of the couples' boyfriends time. Even so, I gave it 10, because I loved it so much! I fell in love with the actors and I think they did a pretty good job, indeed! I totally loved their chemistry...and, man, those kisses!! The ending scene was truly sweet and beautiful...simply perfect! Among the HIStory installments, this is definitely my fav and, actually, it's now my second fav series, after Addicted! I really didn't want this to end, in fact now I'm worried because I already miss them and I don't know if I'll find something as good as this to watch next! So, please, just give me a second season or something!!! hehe ;)
Wtf is that ending? Also, not even a tiny kiss? The only thing we got is a silent confession from the main couple (and I'm already grateful for that!). About the Xuan DaYu-Wang Zhi Shui couple, no development in the end...As I was one of those eager to see more of that couple, I was truly enjoying the new episodes of S2 with great expectations and, seeing more of their scenes, I was anticipating to see their relationship finally developing! I was so disappointed to not even see them anymore in the last episode! And what about Peng Ze and Li Zhen Zhen? Seriously, I needed more of the two side couples! As the ending was near, I was losing hope to see any concrete development...I feel all my anticipation was wasted! It's such a pity, because I love Chai Jidan's works, so I was glad to watch this series, which had the potential to be so much better: the plot was good and I loved the actors. Also, the music was great (I loved the opening, the ending and Xu Weizhou's songs <3). Apart from some ridiculous/unrealistic situations, I was about to give it 9.5/10, until I saw the last two episodes! Well, I still think it's good and I want to keep a good memory of Advance Bravely, but at this point I don't think it's worth watching a second time...I guess this is the best they could do, given the whole censorship matter...
If people like this series, that's fine, but personally I think it's not that good. Well, I kinda liked the interaction between the two male leads but only because I actually liked this Golf, played by Na Songkhla Patpasit (it was funny and cute when he was acting jealous!). However, I have to say that I prefer the original movie, which was of much higher quality: imo, it was beautiful and touching...I loved it! In fact, I'm looking forward to My Bromance 2! Even if I was genuinely curious to watch the series, since the first episode I couldn't get into it. I still watched it till the end, but it didn't do much for me. I liked the narrative technique, but I think it was poorly executed. Also, I think the background music was terrible at some points. Honestly, I managed to watch it all only because of Golf. In the end, I prefer to think of this as an indipendent series with similar plot and characters, as I don't want to "ruin" my image of the movie. After all, for me there are only one Bank and one Golf! > I read that there's an upcoming season 2 for the series as well...I guess I'll watch it to see if it's any better than this.
