Shows usually have us rooting for the main couple to be together , with a third party getting in the way. This however made my heart break for Pheem.. I really don't like the character Jira. All actors involved did a great job because each invoked many feelings in me. This is a show of lust and codependency outweighing genuine care and affection. That being said, Pheem lacks healthy boundaries and self worth. All and all its just depressing for every character.
I'm half way through ep 5 and I had to check the what happens between Victor and Trin.. This is written in a way that I am more interested in the relationship between Lert & Naran..
Victor, student, power dynamic, unhealthy but better paring. Tanwa emotionally unhealthy but the free spirit is something Trin needs. So I find myself wanting Trin to be with both, but also neither.
They must have had the best laugh filming this.. It's hilarious. Exactly what the soul needs after watching several toxic or dramatic series.. This is comedy done right and I'm really glad I chose to watch it.
I didn't realize the age gap until I read your comment because I didn't read up on the drama , I just jumped in…
I usually binge shows, unless the storyline a little too toxic, then I put on something fluffy in-between. To My Shore had a lot of breaks haha. I will check this out tonight because all I'm watching right now is Me and Thee. Thanks for letting me know :)
you don’t get to qualify a queer romance as a bromance just because you didn’t get to see what YOU wanted…
You don't get anywhere with whatever life issues you have by attacking someone on the internet. All this aggression at me, should be directed at whoever actually hurt you.. A bromance is close but non-sexual relationship between two men. Take your issues up with the dictionary. I will not be replying to any of your future comments.
One of my favourite storylines. They did show romance without it being intense, which I think suits the storyline best as it's to help open people minds..
Can you image!? I'd be so red! He was cold busted.
Later on in the same episode when he asks Jeong U , would he like to have drinks back at his place and Jeong U said "What just the two of us or will your cousin be there"... I swear, every now and then I still think of this episode and laugh.
I feel like in every single role Book takes on, his character is the epitome of overreaction. Especially with…
It's a bit too much. I first noticed this actor in Only Friends and I absolutely love Thanawat Rattanakitpaisan, so I wasn't going to drop it. Force does not play roles that I like, he's a great actor because he makes me dislike every character hahaha.. Honestly I'm only watching this because life is rough right now and I need some fluff to laugh at.. If I was in a better place, I'd be finishing off To My Shore, but that's a little too toxic right now.. I think what helps make these characters less annoying especially when JJ is involved in the group, is looking at them closely and seeing them trying to hold back laughter because even they know how silly it is and they are just having a laugh while making a living.
EXCUSE ME.... I'm on 14/24... Is that all that's being said about the kiss with Wa, because that really needs to be addressed more.. They did well with setting a boundary over "its my life", and then ruined it with this nonsense. I'm so annoyed!!
I just can't get on board with Sorn. sure hes driving him places and taking him places, but what is the cost?…
Okay, let me tell you why I like him and you don't have to agree with any of it. I have been with abusers in the past and I am no contact with my family. Would I be with P'Sorn as a fully healed individual, no, but I think both him and Jun are yellow flags and match each other..
1) He doesn't give false hope. At the start Jun knew it was only physical and still chose to go along. We even see P'Sorn say "if you don't want me to do this, say it".. P'Sorn also doesn't leave Jun drunk with Franz, yes, some of it is jealously but can you imagine Juns first time being with someone other than Sorn? In the scene you can see Sorn looking at how Jun is handling the pain, he is being soft and gentle. You can look at it as the bare minimum but it's still better than some random man from the pub.
2) The minute he does care for Jun, he cuts ties with Penny. You see commitment start to creep in. He would feel guilty being with someone else even though he's not yet in a relationship with Jun. Some people don't even commit when in a relationship. Jun doesn't care much, willing to hook up with Franz, leaning on Jom. Trying to make Sorn jealous with Phiang.
3) As in my previous post, P'Sorn is trying to talk to Jun and find out what is wrong. Jun keeps avoiding him, wont tell him what the issue is, runs away expecting Sorn to chase after him. I really dislike this about Jun and I'm actually angry that Sorn went after him.
4) Jun getting into fights, getting drunk, being attacked by Puth's girlfriend, having somewhere to live, getting to and from work, running errands, etc these are all of his own responsibility. Sorn doesn't have to help. But he does. He doesn't ask Jun for rent money, petrol money, he doesn't say no to taking him anywhere even though Sorn has his own responsibilities he needs to tend to. He put's Jun first..
5) He take's Jun to meet him mother and brother. It's not like Sorn brings countless people home. That was a big deal. From this visit Jun finds out the reason Sorn stays away from younger people is because that girl caused a lot of trouble and still he uses the age thing as something to throw at Sorn in an argument. If I had trouble like that, I wouldn't be looking to date someone younger either.
6) All Sorn does is act jealous and doesn't say "Jun will you be my boyfriend" straight away and everyone is calling him toxic. Toxic is Boston from the series Only Friends.. Sorn is trying to figure himself out too. He has never been in a relationship before. He's never chased someone. He has trained himself out of fear and trauma not to date someone younger. Thai being an older brother is also a legit reason as well , it makes everything messy.
There are many many layers to this.. Nothing is black and white, it's all different shades of grey. If you watch the special episodes you will see Sorn be very vocal in telling Jun he loves him, and he says sweet things all the time., They even have a scene where I'd lose my mind and Sorn acts incredible mature and healthy. The character development is fantastic.. Sorn is like anyone else, he has flaws and needs grace to grow in a relationship. I feel like defending him because I know I'm not perfect and I'd like grace too.. Sorn makes mistakes, but he takes ownership and he doesn't do anything from a place of malice (except maybe the meeting scene but that's where I think Jun should have left him, see there is even 1 incident I think Jun should have left and 1, where I think Sorn should have left... 2 yellow flags).
4:30 minutes into the 3rd episode and I had to pause it.. I can't remember the last time I felt such embarrassment for a character.. If that happened to me, I'd never recover.
