Nopes hers was weird because it didnt fit her nor was it made for her features. Even cheapest of masks could look better if anyone cared. Her styling is inconsistent and not well thought out.

Dilruba herself is pretty and managed to carry if off no thanks to the production. Honestly I have seen all her previous works some in historic genre but the styling was deliberate poor here its like they dunno what to put her in. In Peachblossom they all had one pair of clothes which they used throughout so its definitely a mishap here probably coz they wanted to cast someone else but fans only wanted Dilruba in this role.

Its a good adaption of the Pillowbook. The actors were superb in their characters. Loved everything except the poor styling of Dilruba (Feng Jiu), I dunno why they made her wear so poor costumes and plain hairstyle when even all the servants in Aranya Dream's arc were dressed better than her not to mention the rival female actress. I hated the weird mask scene in episode 39? where Dilruba was wearing that bad mask while the male lead playing Donghua looked so good in his mask and silk costume. Did anyone else felt that too? :/

Nice fluffy story, anice break from the other too serious dramas ongoing. Love the styling, beautiful costumes, makeup and brilliant picturization of scenes. Gorgeous hot male lead alert <3 <3 (You may find yourself giggling weirdly or pausing certain fan service scenes ;P)
