Yep that’s what I meant, usually the in Chinese dramas they tend to change a lot of the original novel to make it pass the censorship and appeal more to the audience for their money. But this dramas script can’t really be considered a fan fantasy novel based, rather just that they used the novel to get their baseline of the drama script and rest improvised to make money, all while dragging the novel lovers

It’s not a fan fantasy, rather the drama script was different compared to the original novel. It happens often. And Wattpad is just a platform where it’s easy to post and personalize so the Translator used that platform.
I haven't seen many of his shows, only 1 or 2, but whenever I saw him the most pronounced thing was his beautiful smile, even when he had different expressions it looked like he was smiling. Sigh >3 It's already 2021 and no subs in sight. I actually ended up watching after re-watching the 2011 version countless times. It's a pit I watched the black and white with no subs but I really really really liked this version of Khun Thep and Manee. And the Ending was Perfect!! especially compared to the 2011 version, she gets to say good bye to everyone. I can kinda see where things could have become complicated but really. I like this version of how real, down-to-earth, and with more emotions people were especially Khun Thep(putting the face value comparison, I really fell in love with his elegant, gentle, sweet, more emotional character!!)
