I know, and about Allen acting, his acting never disappoints me, for that since watching UTP, I have watched almost all the dramas he played...he is the best actor in my heart...and yes..of course I will prioritize acting, and the storyline as main part.
I just finished the 13th episode, they finally left the story in the valley of flowers. actually I don't like the rather thick makeup for Allen here. the lip color is too bright and the eye line and powder are quite thick here... honestly I like his natural makeup at UTP as LuYi, he really looks very charismatic and manly... but because He is my favorite actor, I certainly wouldn't mind too much either...
I prefer make-up like chen yi shang shi ( the brother from the goddess who wants to take changyi away) . from his hair and face to his costume, he looks handsome and manly because it is more natural, and not flashy.
now i understand why the producer department of this drama cut the number of episodes of this drama from 30 to 22 episodes. I don't read novels so I don't know how far the story progress in this drama. but I feel the scope of this drama story is not very developed or broad. I've finished episode 12 and the story is still in the valley of tens of thousands of flowers and still around Changyi is under arrest. I feel like the story is just there.. is this really same with the novel?

Honestly, I was a bit disappointed until episode 11 that Allen's screen time as Changyi was so little and the story seemed to focus a lot on LHQ's life...I was a bit bored watching it...I hope that in the first part of this we can see Changyi's character development considering he is the main role.
Tbh I felt the same, since they could create side character's scenes & engagements they could show more of ChangYi…
Yes, I hope to see Changyi's character development soon and the story doesn't focus on Linhaoqing. Episode 10 made me sleepy because of the LHQ screen time. I'm not excited to watch it...to be honest....he-he-he

I know more in here are Dilraba fans but I watch it because of Allen, so I feel like I can't see him more in this drama, and even looks like Lin Hao Qing has a more screen time in here and likes he is main role..

I just check the rating in episode guide, I found have one user deliberately lowered the rating of this drama by giving 1 star for all episodes, even for those that have not been aired.
