Just finished this few minutes ago I immediately come here to comment. I think this might just be my fav drama…
glad to hear you liked this drama and will watch it again... I want to share my thoughts from the points you mentioned: 1. Yes, that's right... a change of emperor like this could actually shake the political stability and people's trust in the kingdom, plus it happened because of the rebellion and the seizure of the emperor's power by force. In ancient times, many incidents like this happened, for the sake of power, even people had forgotten the bonds of brothers and dropped or killed each other for the sake of a royal throne.. 2.yes, i also sometimes think they die easily especially for liuzhixing, honestly i hate his character very much.... he is the type of human being unkind, jealous and a loser and very evil in my eyes. but a punishment for him makes me quite satisfied with his death, he does not get the person he loves, and can only be sickly and restrained by jinrong like a puppet, the emperor is just a name for him. he lived a lifetime of heartache and short life. this is karmic punishment for him. but indeed JinRong I also feel that he died too easily with a stab... compared to ZSC's suffering when he was executed.. I want jinrong to also be executed to death, slowly let him feel the pain before he dies... hahaha.... am I being cruel ?lol... but I'm already satisfied with the ending 3. I think why Yangshao didn't help ZSC at that time also related to the hundreds of ministers being held hostage, ZSC must have taken that into account, ZSC wouldn't have been arrested with his abilities if he hadn't been threatened with ministers and minor emperors. ZSC was willing to sacrifice himself for hundreds of lives but unfortunately his sacrifice was in vain for them. the ministers were killed as well and the loser liuzhixing could only put up with it. and why Yangshao didn't kill Jinrong maybe he was waiting for the right moment to act, Jinrong's power in the palace at that time should still be strong because there was Liuzhixing supporting and conspiring with him. but this is all from my views and thoughts... 4. why didn't they cancel the wedding, I think maybe the marriage was not just a decree for cuishiyi but more as an excuse for her to protect the good name and reputation of her teacher ZSC, I still remember the conversation she had with her mother when she was about to leave xizhou, outsiders accused and Cuishiyi gossiping with her teacher has an unusual student-teacher relationship. so much gossip cornered ZSC's position and for that cuishiyi agreed to the marriage for the sake of her teacher.. maybe she is not afraid of breaking the throne but she is afraid of harming the people she loves because the rumors circulating are not healthy and comfortable to hear.
What? It's because your order of watching is not right. You should watch O&O first
I suggest u to watch OAO first , although both of the story is stand alone but the feeling will different , u will feel so happy and sweet with this couple after all their suffering in OAO.
Omg ..guys...I'm too late realized this , I just remember why Du Feng isn't has a Cui surname too in FAE, because he has deleted his surname too in OAO at the end episode like cuishiyi, so... ZhouShengChen is still zhoushengchen Cuishiyi became shiyi Hongxiaoyu is still hongxiaoyu too Cui Feng became Du Feng ππππ
I am never a fan of historical drama. That's why at first i didn't have any intention to watch this especially…
Allen Ren is the king of historical Chinese drama for me.. I'm never disappointed with his acting..he is really a great actor...he always can portrayed his character very good, natural and live...
