Yes, this is a really good drama. The friendship bond is well cultivated here. Also, the FL and ML are wise and extraordinary. However, you'll finish this drama in tears.

yes, I agree with you, the plot works with the setting. However it's more like the original story got robbed off due to the characters, setting, and vibes change, it won't feel the same anymore which eliminates justice for the story or manhwa in general. but ofc, let's see how this turns out 👀

Honestly, I think Yu Lou's death was miserable enough for her, she realized that all 3 men which she thought only intended to use her "empress fate" actually did indeed loved her. It proves that all her bad deeds were worth nothing because she already got everything she wanted in the first place. On the other hand, Liu Yan deserved much worse than getting pierced with a spear, I agree with you on that. Wei Liang's death was actually pretty terrible compared to his, poor boy even got hanged 😓
