Unfortunately, it seems that the subbers on Viki have dropped it. I actually was enjoying it. It wasn't deep, but it was fun to watch. I wonder if there's somewhere else subtitling it?
Half world bought this Drama to let their country watch it.. And now they cancel it? It doesn't make sense. Ok…
Because apparently they put a whole lot of money into it, and then it aired at the same time as a couple other popular dramas, so the ratings weren't what they hoped. The problem was that the ratings really weren't bad, just not spectacular. I was really bummed when I found out there would be no more seasons.
Extremely confused about the name... Why Sweden laundry? Are you suggesting that our laundry is something special?…
She saved up for a trip to Sweden, but used that money to buy the laundry. I think she's just interested in the culture. So now her "trip" is to the laundry every day.
We finally get Park Shin Hye in a feisty character where she isn't bawling or being dragged around by a boy who doesn't communicate with her at all. Lee Jong Suk is excellent as always. Good writing, and some interesting secondary characters so far, along with some pretty deep philosophical questions about media and how news is presented.
Kim Sae Ron is the most adorable person ever, and you should watch the series just for her. The Infinite boys do a fairly good job. However, this drama is falling into the mid-drama slump of angst that is common to many romantic comedies. The writers have also made many of the secondary characters too one-sided, such as the sunbae angel, the mom, and even Sung Yeol's character. Many of their decisions are not rational, and sometimes don't make any sense at all. Plus, there's the really silly title, which conveys little about what the series is about. I am hoping for a redemptive ending that starts earlier than the last episode.
Watch past the first three or four episodes. The writers completely turn most of the problematic elements of the first episodes on their head as the story progresses, and in a way that makes perfect sense. The acting is superb.
I don't know what they were thinking when they came up with the title, but this series is adorable so far. The lead girl is so charming and so likeable, and it's cute to see the boys protect her.
I'm as conflicted as everyone else. I think Aaron is completely watchable. The rest of the series is a train wreck. I'm hearing now it's 20 episodes instead of 21.
