I agreed with everything you wrote here especially the boring part. This drama consists of 8 stories while the first ep of each story is the introduction and the next is the climax and resolution. I was like looking forward to seeing the new story and then eager to see the resolution. This loop continued. Peaks and peaks throughout the whole show. It never get bored to me lol.

I almost dropped this drama because of this story but after a rewatch i found it’s really good. I think it’s a story that more relatable to older viewers. The scene of young/old hansu floating was catharic.

This must be one in a lifetime project. The incredible script of 8 different stories in 20 episodes. These star-studded casts who agreed to join and play supporting roles too. The osts are stunning (one of them from jimin!). The gorgeous directing and cinematography. I hope everyone watch this drama. We won’t get something like this again soon.

It’s very different i think. Both the format and the subject. MLN is about one family and mr.gu while Our Blues consists of 8 stories/relationships. OB is about broader spectrum of life including various topics since the characters are very diverse from a child to grandma. I preferred OB since i felt it’s more raw and real, eye-opening and thought-provoking in may aspects that i did’t have experience myself.

Hansu comes back in the last ep. Miran will have her own ep with eunhui later.

This drama never gave us cliche even the plot started to look like one. They always twist our expectations in a good way.

Best drama. Best ending. I am crying but i am very happy.

She has a romance with lee byung hyun ‘s character. They’ve been supporting each other. But not like in other romance drama. Because her main story abt she’s with her son, and his story is abt he with his mom.

The first answer from his mom was not what he or us wanted to hear. I hope whatever happens tmr will help dongseok to find peace, not for his mom to die in peace but for him to start living in peace.

I think each story hits differently for everyone like the teenage couple is prefered by younger viewers, romance lover will like woobin-jimin story.

Ep10 they confessed, ep11 started dating. No breakup, just taking a break for one ep.

I don’t think she’s haenyeo. Her daughter was, and her friend. I can understand the concubine thing but the abuse…no excuse!

I’m not ready to say goodbye to this drama yet. Hope we can have more kdrama in omnibus format in the future. But it must be a tough work for the writer though.

It’s omnibus format. Check the episode titles, each character has their own ep when they’re main characters, but they will be supporting by appearing a little or not at all in other stories.
