any shows similar to this?? i love revenge dramas esp with strong female lead , this show is amazing !!
"Secret" (2013) is a great revenge melo with a strong romance. Very Wuthering Heights in tone, because the male lead is truly awful to the female lead at first. The female lead is also very much the long-suffering Candy, but she has grit and you root for her. Truly addictive show, and both the revenge and the romance are really satisfying. My favorite in this genre. "Prosecutor Princess" (2010) is my second favorite; it's what happens when you put all the ingredients of a revenge melo in the blender, but add the plot of Legally Blonde to the mix. "Itaewon Class" is another fantastic revenge story, but with less camp and more sincerity. It also has a strong romance but the focus is on the male lead. And if you just want a really good Cinderella makjang with a modern twist, then go for "Shining Inheritance" (2009), star cast and super addictive.

Biscuit Teacher and Star Candy (also titled Hello My Teacher) is my all time favorite noona romance; it stars two of my favorite actors: Gong Yoo and Gong Hyo Jin, and (despite being a bit raw around the edges at the beginning) it's a cherry blossom infused delight. My second favorite is Unstoppable High Kick, which is an 167-episode long family drama and I normally hate family dramas, but I watched this one because I was so drawn to Jung Il Woo's character (a wonderful combination of rebellious, vulnerable, badass, sweet, immature and yet wise beyond his years) and the beautiful relationship that develops between him and the noona he secretly adores... the other characters eventually grow on you too and it's genuinely funny. Another great one is Queen of Reversals, though the age difference isn't significant and the noona factor isn't emphasized, you'll be rewarded with a strong, resourceful heroine, and a male lead that isn't afraid to yell his love from the rooftops.
