Loved the intimacy, the hugs, the romance...just WOW
riiiight? it finally felt like real romance & so natural!π€ instead of how it's 99% of the time one peck or kiss & not even hand holding, like duuuude, are you really lovers? π
We are so SPOILED by this show up to this point that one or two episodes of angst and it's like "ow ow ow!"…
they even toned down the angst with this whole 18 year coma for SJ(and does feel slightly out of character), from what novel readers say, it was more angsty/heartbreaking in novel when he realised he had inadvertently killed her and no sleep for that dude, he was all brokenhearted about it and searched for her the whole time
wouldd've preferred if they had kept the novel version. in drama it's like he didn't truly feel the impact of LT dying
I wanted to cmnt on their romance but really got irritated by fl. Wn that evil princess harmed u enough to put…
agreed, hate these goody shoe characters, like, girl, she freaking tortured you and wanted to kill you, yet you'd just let her go unharmed so she can do it again??? wtf. disgusting. so far, only thing I hate about the FL,had expected better of her ;(
ok, I'm on ep 23 now, but this seems surprisingly nice - while his father was a philanderer and had endless concubines and thus a bunch of bastards & shu born children and he's (the ML) the only legitimate child, but seems like unlike usually in dramas where the shu born siblings are out to get the di born (our ML) these siblings are true siblings despite it and affectionate towards each other. I mean, he seems friendly with that 5th brother of his who's in a wheelchair and now also this older sister in the capital - they clearly have genuine sibling bond and love. So nice to see ^^
Too much suspension of disbelief especially the fact that they allowed her to wore the mask & didn't question…
they did make it more lighthearted than the novel, the novel IS still funny, lolz, how can it not be with He Yan shamelessly goofing around π€£ but yeah...in the novel He Yans story is truly heartbreaking & especially when/how Xiao Jue finds out...π I'm kinda sad they've cut/changed that...oh well. Still loving the drama thou' π€
hmmm so they've switched around a few things from the novel...ok, ok, kinda sad to see we won't get to meet some characters (and really, the novel didn't have a big cast ;( ) but in the big picture it doesn't change the plot, so i'm ok with it...and they did keep He Yan being completely shameless ahaahahahaha love it π€£π€ so far, great π€ i wanna see moooore, why didn't they just release the whole drama π€
