The cdrama is good, but I don't think it deserves such a high rating.

Yeah, but like 3 chapters into the aunt's death, there was the sml wanting to get back with her like it was nothing, and little is said about the fl not caring at all about the possibility of her father being dead, osea yeah, he's not a good guy but he raised her since she was born and always spoiled her, it seemed pretty insensitive on the fl's part to me. Also when the aunt died, the fl seemed more affected by the possibility that the ml had killed her than by the fact that her aunt had died less than two minutes ago, it was as if the only thing she cared about was the ml, and the ml instead of explaining the situation to her made her feel bad for not trusting him when she had more than enough reason to distrust him as she had found her aunt's corpse in the arms of ml.

Stop defending him, it's been a while since the victim's family made public WhatsApp conversations of him flirting with her from when she was 15 and he was almost 30, even the victim's letter she mentions they had a 5-6 year relationship. And there are pictures of them 2 very close together.
