I have a feeling that if you've never seen the Japanese one, you'd think this is great. But for anybody who HAS…
That's also really another thing I like about the Korean version more. Nao on the Japanese version was quite useless or undeveloped. Whereas the Korean version, Da Jung, actually had some moments where her character shone. Woo jin, in fact, even gave her a lot of credits for winning some of the games. Da Jung/Nao is still a weak character yes, but she is much less weaker here.
Man, how I love it when an actor/actress turns around and surprises you! Goo Ara did it in Reply 1994, Shin Se Kyung in GWSS, and etc. And I am pleasantly surprised by Nam Joo Hyuk. I watched School 2015 and I was ANNOYED at how someone so green can have a leading role AND beside Kim So Hyun at that. Then we have the much better actor/character Yook Sung Jae, and that didn't help. So I've always sort of had a grudge on him for that. But i kept an open mind and boy I'm just so glad that he's great at this drama. I'm glad he proved me wrong for his sake and this drama's sake (cause Lee Sung Kyung is knocking it out of the park too), keep it up!

I watched the season 1 of the Japanese version before I watched this, and found the Japanese one cheesy and low-budget (I couldn't keep going). The acting is much better here, and I like the korean take on it.
Okay this is actually one of the rare dramas that could use a second season, a drama that will actually have a material for one. There are still so many things to touch on. One: the old roomate, why she git kicked/left. I know they said that it was because she got knocked up but the way they said it just felt like it was a lie or theres more to it. 2: Ji Won's random ears ringing, never explained properly. 3: Eun Jae's dad's autopsy, they could delve into it more (but not too much). 4: Yi na and Ji won's romances, it was revealed that Yi Na's friend has feelings for her (u have no idea how happy i was for their possible romance), and seong min thought of Jii Won as a woman for once. Lastly: Ye Eun is still shook up over her ex's kidnapping. They could delve deeper into how she overcomes at experience. I feel that they left room for a second season but even if they don't make one, im still quite satisfied with the drama.
Anyone have any news regarding season 2? Because the last time I heard about it was in dramabeans where Lee Sang Yoon said the writer is currently working on the script? And that was kind of long ago.
Ugh I just finished and loved it. One thing I'm really disappointed about though is that we didn't get to see the whole neighborhood's reaction to Taek and Deok Sun dating. Like why, show??? Would've been SUPER hysterical.
How's Go Sung Hee's acting in this? I've heard a lot of negative things about her acting and i've also seen comments about how she improved in this drama but also how some says she still sucked.
What a darn cute drama! Was perfect in every way but one thing, I was really hoping they wouldn't go in the "end up with his reincarnation" route. Like am I the only one who thinks this? It is NOT the same person! Future time-travelling dramas, stop this trend this instant! But I guess I really loved the drama so much that it didn't bother me a lot.
That aside, this could've easily been a full-length drama, more angst of course but honestly the writing and directing was sooo good, the directing especially, that gangnam style scene was pure gold, freaking hysterical. Just a high quality drama, a lot better than most full-length series out there.
I really do find something missing from this drama. Shin Hyeok was gold, but the plot literally went no where…
My rating for this drama went from probably like a 9.5 to an 8. It got SO draggy and there was no story left by the time ep 12-13 hit. They tried making such small things as conflict and it just left me bored. Too bad, it was SUPER funny. How great would it have been if it was only 12 episodes.
Siwon is the best thing about this drama. Haven't had such a strong SLS since School 2015 (hate that drama).
I love him! So much charisma as a villain. I was honestly more attracted to him than i was with Lee Sang Yoon in Liar Game. His acting just oozes with charisma, not like Lee didn't have any (cause those dimples! and that "her property" line! rawr), but Shin Sung Rok was just... <3.
I'm like spazzing here lol but really he's such a great actor, if there was ever a korean Joker it would be him.
This started off so good and cute but I saw where the plot was going in ep 11 and I just had to stop. The comments right now are enough to tell me that I was right.
Don't disappoint.
Comment: " We only have 10 mins on the ep left y'all TT"
Me: shut up shut up ugh f off shut up
Watching ending scene of ep 20 like:
*flips table*
*flips everything*
*flips entire life*
*squeals to death*
*goes on coma for 5 days*
