just finished watching the drama. this was my first time seeing Meguro Ren, and I immediately became a fan. He’s…
Meguro Ren has some great projects under his belt, but the drama Silent is what really blew him up in Japan. I personally loved his movie, As Long as We Both Shall Live, it’s based on the anime My Happy Marriage but the light novel version. After you done those, please do check out Trillion Game, probably his most fun and layers role yet.

Omfg I cant believe the amount of old farts I pissed off w my one comment 😭😭 Ik I definitely worded it wrong…
If you can't handle differing opinions, maybe you shouldn't be commenting. Age has nothing to do with taste, and dismissing anyone who disagrees with you as an 'old fart' is so immature and doesn't help your case. If you are here to share your thoughts, be prepared for others to share theirs too. This platform is for discussion, not for throwing tantrums when people don't see things your way. Grow up and learn to engage with differing views without resorting to childish insults

Kieta Hatsukoi was my first JBL, and I fell in love with it. Everything was so well crafted, from the writing, cast, and acting to the narration and directing. Going into this, I knew it would be tough because the original set the bar so high already. But even with low expectations, I'm left scratching my head in disbelief at what I'm watching. Everything feels like a rushed stage play, just jumping from point to point to cover all the basic without any emotional depth. It feels so soulless. I grew up watching Thai dramas, so I'm more familiar with their dynamics than Japanese, but this adaptation left me feeling so unsatisfied that I had to rewatch Kieta Hatsukoi to refill that void.
