It’s not clear when he shifted souls and when he returned to his body or if he even went back to his body, Naksu…
True, forgot about Kil Joo running wild lol. And that was a cool scene actually, when Jang Uk used Tansu to finally finish him off.
About Jang Gang, I don't remember him petrifying when dying, have to go back and re-watch that scene at least.
Then it's useless all the thought to get back in your own body unless you have the ice stone to get healed, or remain a muggle for the rest of your life., and get treatment from master Heo new medicine.
They should have thought it a little bit better.

She's so irrelevant to the story, I don't understand why they want to make her relevant, I hope they don't have…
Definitely there should have been more "special" families and the kind with priestess powers. But that convo was totally Jin Mu playing on mama Jin's pride. He wants Jins involved and he wants to get access in the Jinyowon and get the fire bird awaken.
I was appalled when I saw mama Jin so easily played, because it wasn't the 1st time. She should have learned her lesson by now. And to hear her "No, it must be Jin priestesses, we have always participated in the rite, we still have me and Cho Yeon, bla bla bla" what the heck?

I don't think you missed anything, they never really explained what or how Jin Mu made her father a soulshifter. But…
I'm starting to think I am going crazy 🤣🤣🤣
Or is just M Lee the crazy one.

But she did run wild and petrified when provoked with dust and bells and infused with Jin Mu energy. Smth is fishy here.
He clearly said that for a body not to run wild or petrify the body must resemble the soul.
Am I going nuts or what? 🤣🤣

Then what about Jang Gang? He did not run wild (maybe he didn't use magic for 20 years) but he neither petrified when he died. And BY/Naksu situation? Granted it is a little different, but master lee said it will not run wild or petrify as long as the body has soul's appearance.

Yep. That was total bullsh*t. Like she knows who Jin Mu is and what is his specialty and yet she agrees to go in gwido to show him she's got no powers yet. Risking her life for a family which doesn't deserve it. When in past she was always for self preservation. I refuse to believe that she is manipulated by BY here. That would mean she's always been manipulated by BY even in her relationship.

Why I am under impression we were told if the soul is back in OG body, they will no longer run wild or petrify?
Also applying to BY/Naksu logic told by Master Lee. If the body has the soul's appearance it will not run wild petrify (this case is a little more delicate, but still going for same logic)

Weren't we told that if a soul goes back in their own body they no longer run wild or petrify?

Wasn't it said that the dust and bells work only on soul shifters? And if he was back in the body, why did it petrify?

But poor Naksu used her energy to heal BY, now she can't do the same thing in another body. Aggghhh. They really needed to add another plot twist when it wasn't necessary. There are so many stories left in the air, which could have completed the 10 eps.

Right. So I really don't think he returned, he's body petrified. Otherwise it's another plothole. I really don't like how Naksu's story was handled. After she found out, she sulked for 5 min and that was it. They embarked her into the romance storyline, and it was like she didn't even want to, but went along with the script. They clouded our minds with the next mission "get the ice stone, prevent running wild/petrification, save her life".

Yun Ok is really brave, she went to woods to test a soul shifter and a very dangerous one at that😂 so being…
She's so irrelevant to the story, I don't understand why they want to make her relevant, I hope they don't have in mind to make her close to death and use her body to put Naksu in it.

Day 20.QUESTION OF THE DAY.What will jang UK first reaction be like after knowing it is naksu????
He would have kissed her if it weren't for CP interrupting the reunion :))))

No, but honestly, I thought it would go like "So it was you after all, my crazy master!" before I saw the spoiler in bts.

I am rewatching some scenes from season1. In episode 7 when MuDeok in the mirror and just before she broke it…
Right? That would mean, JU was always drawn to BY and not Naksu's soul.
They met when she was in BY's body, BY's soul was always there.
OMG, I don't like this theory now :)))))))
It's depressing. If we go by this, it means Naksu was born to be used by everybody.

I'm curious about smth since season 1 and the curiosity wasn't satisfied until now.
Maybe it has been already discussed, I don't know.

Regarding Naksu's father. He became a soul shifter. So how come he was in his own body when he slaughtered his family?
Naksu's memories are clearly of her father getting killed before her eyes, she recognized it was her father. And even the other ppl knew it was him. Before he was killed, he slaughtered his family and she was told to stay hidden "if you see your father, don't come out!"
Was he already a soul shifter when she was conceived? It can't be, because we were told it was Jin Mu who turned him into a soul shifter.
Otherwise, if he would have returned into his own body as Jang Gang returned in his story with the king, he should've not run wild.
Or if he slaughtered his family while he was in a different body and then returned to his body and killed by the 4 families because he used sorcery, then why in a flashback his body petrified after being killed?
That would mean it was someone completely different in that body, not her father. And her father's soul was in another's body.
Then what happened to her father? Was he killed immediately after the AOS was performed and his body was taken by a Jin Mu minion? That is a Jin Mu tactic for sure. But have we received any explanation regarding this, besides what Kil Joo told Naksu?

Have I missed something? Was it explained in the drama?

True. I think the name was intentionally left out. So now we are left with more possibilities.
Seol-Ran took part in the 1st rain rite from which the stone was created, then she sealed it in Jinyowon when Seo Gyeong sent it to her to save her life.
So it makes sense for the relics to say "it's her, the blind girl, the ice stone".
