I was talking about when BY found the ice stone in the lake, in order to take it out, she had to unseal it. Before that, mama Jin retrieved it from Jinyowon and gave it to Jang Gang to save her child, as he was the only one who would have been able to handle its power. It seems you misinterpreted what I've written. Might be my English or thinking process at fault.

JBY died in her mama womb and her mama kept the dead baby with her priestess powers in her womb up until she decided to finally go to Jang Gang and ask his help to revive her baby with the ice stone. She told Jang Gang that she has kept her baby in her womb for 13 months. We don't know how long after she gave birth. Babies are born after 9 months for a normal pregnancy, so that means mama Jin kept her dead baby inside her for about 4 months. When Jang Gang used the ice stone, who is to say that JBY soul came back to that body? And here we come to that suspicion of reincarnation. There are too many similarities between JBY and JSR. Both blind and both possess insane devine powers. If you remember mama Jin's flashbacks regarding young JBY, she was wiser for her age and she was able to handle Jinyowon relics "as if they were her toys". So, Jin Seol-Ran possessed the baby inside mama Jin and she must have come with a plan of her own. She probably only realized that she has a mission later as she aged. Otherwise she would have never unsealed the ice stone (edit: from the lake - BY, Jin Mu, papa Jin flashback). My guess is she was weakened after unsealing the ice stone and was unable to use her devine powers anymore so when she felt a soul (Naksu) with great power dying/in transition she snatched it to save that soul and recharge her own batteries. That is why when lost, she never returned home. She only came to Daeho Fortress same time Naksu was there. Her plan might be an easy one, complete what wasn't completed before she died. Get rid of the last ice stone for good and destroy Jinyowon relics as they possess threatening powers.
In conclusion, Jin Seol-Ran similarly to Seo Yul wants to do the right thing. And by doing the right thing she will sacrifice what must be sacrificed, including Jung Uk to dispose of the ice stone. And finally that body is hers as much it's Naksu's, both aren't the original JBY.
I suspect the same, but for now I'm refering to it as one as we were told by the story. That portal and the fact that she ended up in the outside world going through it really made me suspect it might be a portal to the past or future or smth entirely more complex.

I'm more inclined to think he was already there and this was all planned toghether with CP and CP is now stalling Jin Mu by faking to be on his side.

When she said she's going to enter Gwido, I thought she will drag Jin Mu with her and leave him for dead in there. But no. I don't get why she let herself be manipulated again by Jin Mu, what was the point of the internal monologue she had before, when she was entering Cheonbugwan?
