I'm not yet watching LYF, but have seen him in TTEOTM and The Journey of Chong Zi too. His character was also different in those two. Still waiting for a drama with him as ML, hope it happens in the near future. In LYF it seems he's SML.

Still at the beginning of the story (ep9), but so far, this is a story about a pouty "beggar" turned into a pouty spoiled brat, all thanks to shīfù. His obsession with her is unattractive. Feels like he's grooming her.
I hope there will be character development for FL and a change of attitude in ML.
Is there hope?

I need a drama with Deng Wei as ML.
BTW this drama is nice. Nostalgic and romantic.

Into ep 11, Guan Yue showed up only 2 sec. I'm sad :(

I have the same problem, although yesterday I found a mini drama which totally changed this. The FL spectacular.

The best mini drama I've watched so far. Plot is good. Actors are great. FL is spectacular.

She also reminds me a little of Kim Se Jeong :)))

Those are my favorite characters too. I pushed through the drama only because of them. I wish the drama could have a version with a different kind of FL so I could re-watch it.
