Uk definitely knows something that we know but don't know he knows. In ep1 s2 when he has that conversation with CP, when CP compares him to a splinter in his finger and Ukie rethorically asks "Is that what Jin Mu told you to think of me to make you feel better?" and in the same context he mentions that it cannot be as painful as a sword through his chest. I know that conversation also hints to Uk being the king's star, but the parallel to the sword through his chest and Jin Mu in the same context, makes me think he knows more than we know he knows. It also seems he kept in contact with Master Lee even though we don't get to see them together in any scenes until now. Master Lee went to the palace and requested CP to go reward Uk in person, and as they were having the conversation, Master Lee left out a smirk which is very suspicious. I really don't think those scenes are only about King's star. But I might be wrong, since this drama has its history of repeating same story over and over, even though we got it the first time. So even though we are very much aware of the idea that CP took credit for Uk's heroism and is still doing that, they might just remind us with these 2 scenes.
