This is one of the few dramas where I didn't mind the misunderstanding trope at all. Usually, I get frustrated when misunderstandings drag on for too long, but here, it actually worked for me.
I especially liked how Sa-eon let Hee-joo continue believing that he didn't know she was 406. He already knew the truth, but he also knew that being 406 was the only way she could openly express all the frustration and pain she had kept inside for twenty years because she was forced to stay silent. Instead of exposing her, he gave her the space to finally say everything she couldn't say before.
I don't know, maybe it's just me, but I found that dynamic surprisingly touching rather than frustrating.
Jundai vs weirao/achou is giving me psychopath vs sociopath... jundai is already giving me creeps with the trailer and achou is as manipulative as her.. cant wait for thr mind games between these two.
I did not like the trailer of this drama at all, meaning in the entire 1 minute trailer, only Xi is there, I assumed…
this is only 1 trailer. This is yanan 1st ML and he used to be in supporting roles. Everyone went thru a lot becoz bagging a male lead role so be grateful.. even xiao zhan used to be a 2nd ML before becoming a star. This is technically a female centric with txw portraying 2 charcater (3 names) .. u wouldnt expect such important charcater to have less when the whole plot is all about her
I'm on ep 6 and I wish txw had more screen time, I love whenever she's on screen but so far she's more supporting…
Its ok. Tian xi wei actually took paycut for tbis role, she wanted this opportunity and im glad we can see txw took on different roles. If im being honest, i thnk many people watch this solely becoz of txw. .. i heard her charcater is trending despite being a ssupporting role. And this drama doing good in chinese media.
