I agree with almost everything you've said!
As someone who watches mainly Japanese dramas, Korean dramas can be difficult to watch because of the number of episodes and the length of the episode! They do drag a lot! When it comes to re-watching, you realise how much of it just wasn't needed.
Also, 2002 is probably the earliest I'm willing to go. The quality just kills me.
I just completed Himizu. I loved her acting in the movie. May have to watch some of her other stuff....

Yeah, a few days ago i realised i had not completed a single drama so spent a few hours watching the last few episodes of Itazura na Kiss. Therefore, i completed one drama in 2013 as well as a special.
The older i get, the busier my life seems to get. Also, in the last couple of years i've rediscovered my love for books. So, although i only watched one drama in 2013, i read over 200 books :D
Anyway, Happy New Year! Akemashite Omedetou! Er... I dunno how you say it in Korean :)
I still cant get over the fact that i have yet to complete a single drama this year...
And i used to be a drama addict :(
