Dylan bravo!! Leaps of growth from previous dramas! Cried more than I imagined. I’m left astonished by his character and portrayal. Everyone in this drama was excellent. Never seen Shu Xin act but I’m intrigued. And found a new love in the process MR. ZHANG WOW. Definitely one of the best dramas this year.
The whole cast here is amazing! They are perfect for their roles and the leads all have such great chemistry. Loving the nostalgia this drama is giving. I see so many familiar faces and putting them all together from the big name dramas they come from. Makes me admire how great they shine in the spotlight themselves.
So, first of all I have not seen even one scene of the show, so this comment is not about the show, but rather…
Not the best with words but I’ll give it a shot. Character development, every character definitely gets one. Luckily we spend more time on the development of the stories main focus, our lead, and just enough of those around her. The role reversal that we see usually in the male story line, yes, it is very present but (yes I’m using the but word lol!) honestly every great kdrama even has it. It’s something you can’t really escape in KWorld. The classic family drama and origin stories. I liked that it didn’t take much of the screen time though!
As for sweet Joon Ho being a side piece. Each has their own interpretation. For me he is just true to himself from beginning to end. His attitude, admiration, and love are truly realistic. Honestly this drama was refreshing, fun, and left me wanting to also feel as fulfilled as WYW!
Didn’t expect to be moved so much in the last episode. It really tied up the sentiments of this drama. Let’s you reflect on all the good, bad, and ugly in and out of any ordinary life and job.
Went in watching this drama with zero expectations, but for the love of Lu, and left remembering why I love all 4 leads. Great job all around every single character/actor!
Is it a glitch that Viki has first 2 episodes already? Either way the flow into season 2 felt like season 1 ended last week. So smooth and I’m sucked right back in to Yumis life.
Excuse me but for what the drama is and what it’s based off it’s stil 10/10, these ratings are ridiculous.
They way Reba smiled her way through pain, loss, and torture this whole series was really well done. Than the sexy bad boy vibes to cute bubbly vibes from Ren was top of the toppity tier! Found some new faces to watch out for as well.
I’m on ep 19 and now there roles are reversed. It is slow but I’m waiting to see how there reunion turns out.
It’s misunderstanding galore! I did enjoy the fight scenes too, the cgi is really well done in this series. Just finished ep 22 and felt their reunion so rushed. Hoping for more tension in the next half.
How I successfully started this drama today without seeing any spoilers since it started airing, intentionally or even unintentionally, goes to show that I was meant to enjoy this drama to the fullest. After waiting for Viki to have the proper subs I started it today and……… why are the visuals soooooo good! Cast and cgi!! I’m excited.
And the ending OST! Feels like one of the most proper fantasy drama songs in a looooong time.
Now I’m on episode 10!
❤️

Sadly started skipping certain characters stories. Wooris co worker is my fave character so far.

And umm can someone explain to me who ends up governing both leads territories? Or does Huang Chao make it one big country??
