Sorry for this offtopic posting. LBC2 runs on WeTV and I have a subscription there. I watch LBC2 and My gear... , but that's it. I watched some short Korean series, Mr Heart in the past. I wonder if there is more BL there, but their search engine is not very useful. Any other things I could watch? Thanks, and sorry again for spamming.
I wonder why this drama is getting a lower rating than Oxygen. I really got bored while watching few minutes of…
I am usually a pro-Oxygen, but this episode 9 was fantastic (and those before, too). I still do not think that MGAYG is better than OX, but I would at least comply with you that they are quite equal, having their own asthaetics, pros and cons.
The colours alone of this series, the lanterns and Chinese-styled houses, the beach are a feast for the eyes. I still consider 12$ a bit much, but with 5 episodes there will be more than 5 1/2 hours to watch, more than 2 full cinema-movies.
OMG Ep 7 was boring. I usually like a relaxed pace, but that was beyond relaxed - more like deceased. Does it…
I agree. It was not the pace. The plot is getting more and more abstruse. I don't want to start a discussion on "realistic storylines", but this gets now into fighting over problems which are self-made.
I could repeat what I wrote before, but my sum up: I still like it, because my personal preference is slow paced romance. So I am ok. I also see the flaws and why this series is not made to please many of viewers. Life would be boring, if we all loved the same, right?
I have two other things: 1. Is it only for me, or are there endless ad breaks in Youtube? I had 4 breaks within the first 8 minutes of the first part and altogether it were 17! I am not sure if this is done by Mauve or Youtube. It is a bit annoying.
2. Most of you view this series in translation. I think, there is a lot lost in it. Gui, for instance, does not really talk in Thai like a boyfriend or best friend (like Kao does with Solo). Gui still uses very formal language and expressions, which sometimes are even a bit overstated and sound satiric. This also follows the book. Keep always in mind: these two are not in the same league and their relationship is and will not be the same level.
I rather spend 84$ in sum for a Thai course and learn that language thoroughly. Then I can watch it for free :D I am sure, 85$ gets me already a basic course, haha.
So.... Thai fans can watch this FOR FREE ANYTIME but anyone else has to pay 60 dollars FOR A 30 DAY RENT... MAKE…
Well. Thai fans have also access to those products which are advertised and probably spend money on Thai books and other merchandise. Not to mention that translating and subtitling also have costs.
Hope, this doesn't become a trend now. There are other nice series coming up soon. I am not pissed of paying for something. I am already paying for three streaming services. I would not mind to pay a bit more if I could watch all series in one service. But paying 60$ for renting just the episodes, nope.
According to a Nadao Post on YouTube some hours ago, the series will be a available for purchase for international…
That is really disappointing. I am freakingly outraged... I posted already to all my friends about this series. Indeed, on Line I can only find the Thai original :(
Just finished episode 17. Such a deep going series. I get into philosophy now.
Isn't it grotesque that most societies on earth, and therefore, parents, hold their sons (and even daughters) in high esteem if they go to the army, go to war, yeah, even kill someone? But if the same son/daughter loves the "wrong" woman or someone of the same sex, they are outcasts? We build monuments for people to harmed other and killed others, but I cannot think I have ever seen one which was for a person loving someone else.
Sadly, this series probably will not reach those, which should, actually, watch it.
Why is that, that in Thai BL people cannot talk with each other? I understand, to say I love you isn't easy. But wtf, just talk together. I do not get THE message. People rather organise gang raping instead of talking with each other (not a spoiler, that is from another series). And never ever say, I am sorry, I've done shit, I did not mean it....
Is this series extended? I am absolutely sure at the beginning the number of episodes were just 10? And next week, I told sunset about you, starts. I thought it comes then after So much in love on Line TV.
One of the best series I have ever watched. A mixture of serious topics with smart humour. I am also middle-aged already and could absolutely feel into this serious. Does anyone know if there will be a second season? The series ended quite sharply. Both main actors are very handsome, too. And the young Shiro...かわいいいいいいい!
I read the novel long time ago. Actually, it was my bf's favourite novel, so I also read it, though not that much being interested in Taiwan's gays. However, watching this now gives me a bit of nostalgia...
honestly this comment sold me on watching it. I'd love a drama free series right now.
Me actually too. That is why I like this series. Just made last week the big error to watch History3 Make our days count. I am already in a depressive mood, but that series killed me... I find Oxygen quite refreshing. Anyhow, I totally understand, why some people do not like it. I am not fanatic, I can see the flaws in this series...
