Just finished episode 17. Such a deep going series. I get into philosophy now.
Isn't it grotesque that most societies on earth, and therefore, parents, hold their sons (and even daughters) in high esteem if they go to the army, go to war, yeah, even kill someone? But if the same son/daughter loves the "wrong" woman or someone of the same sex, they are outcasts? We build monuments for people to harmed other and killed others, but I cannot think I have ever seen one which was for a person loving someone else.
Sadly, this series probably will not reach those, which should, actually, watch it.
Why is that, that in Thai BL people cannot talk with each other? I understand, to say I love you isn't easy. But wtf, just talk together. I do not get THE message. People rather organise gang raping instead of talking with each other (not a spoiler, that is from another series). And never ever say, I am sorry, I've done shit, I did not mean it....
Is this series extended? I am absolutely sure at the beginning the number of episodes were just 10? And next week, I told sunset about you, starts. I thought it comes then after So much in love on Line TV.
One of the best series I have ever watched. A mixture of serious topics with smart humour. I am also middle-aged already and could absolutely feel into this serious. Does anyone know if there will be a second season? The series ended quite sharply. Both main actors are very handsome, too. And the young Shiro...かわいいいいいいい!
I read the novel long time ago. Actually, it was my bf's favourite novel, so I also read it, though not that much being interested in Taiwan's gays. However, watching this now gives me a bit of nostalgia...
honestly this comment sold me on watching it. I'd love a drama free series right now.
Me actually too. That is why I like this series. Just made last week the big error to watch History3 Make our days count. I am already in a depressive mood, but that series killed me... I find Oxygen quite refreshing. Anyhow, I totally understand, why some people do not like it. I am not fanatic, I can see the flaws in this series...

I cannot promise "drama free". My statement above is based on the novel and the 5 episodes do far. As we all already have seen: the series follows only roughly the given path in the novel...
Finished this on one day :D I usually only watch Japanese movies or Thai BL series, but this is my second Taiwanese series (Make our days count was the first). I like both History3 stories I watched so far, but Trapped was perfect. Just everything you want from a drama (drama, fun, entertainment, some hot scenes, seriousness....). I really enjoyed this deep going plot, while Make our Days count just bound me emotionally in.
The actors play well. Gui and Solo are within the parameters given by the novel. Both are introverted characters, not very expressive, more self-reflecting and non-emotional. If you keep this in mind, it becomes understandable.
I agree, however, this is not that much to make a 13-episode series of. The issue of this "drama" is that there is no drama - at least not in the novel. The director already knew this and therefore created side stories with invented characters, like Khem and the doctors. Khim just appears 2-3 times in the novel. And the teaser already introduced Linda, which is also different from the novel. And there is KaoPhu, which is going more intense, I think. There is not much to play with, if the basics are already that small.
To sum up: It is just not TharnType or Sotus. It is a small, harmless love story between some guys, a romance without anything deep going. I am also a bit disappointed, but you would be better if you just did not interpret things into this, which it does not have and cannot have.
Ah, there are two versions! I watched a short movie once, and the topic was similar. Unfortunately, the short film is deleted on youtube. I am sure it was the movie I watched. I watched the 2017 version and many things were familiar.
Just so everyone's clear, (for those of you watching, or wanting to watch), this show obviously doesn't really…
I already wanted to comment this, but you came first. Perfectly said and thank you for this statement. Since it is for advertisement, I am also quite sure we won't see "hot scenes", haha.

It will air on Oct, 24th at 6pm.
There is no link for sharing, sorry.
