The finale was a bit short. The jump from the bar scene in ep. 3 to the following (?) morning was too harsh. I guess we did not see all due to corona? I found already ep. 3 quite short but the finale was under 20 minutes. The actors were good, their chemistry perfect, but in that short time, they could not really play their full potential, I think. Overall, very sweet and nice.

I am a bit shocked about the deleted scene, episode 7, Dew and Blue. Really glad that this was cut out. I still think, they both make a good couple together - isn't BL about starting with problems and ending in love? However, that deleted scene would really be too much. I'll try to delete it also out of my memory :)

Is it true that they first wanted to cast Saint as Duen? After watching him in Why R U I am totally convinced that he would have failed here in My Engineer. He does not match to Cooper, neither from appearance, nor from personality. I am glad they have chosen Poy. He really completes the BohnDuen/DuonBohn-couple :D

I must admit, I cannot really get warm with them. I watch them, but I am not that interested. Actually, I am a bit sad about that - the other couples in the series just outshine them. If Mek/Boss had their own series I would watch and even favour them... I think, four couples are just too many. Ram and King also did not appear so long in episode 9...

It is written Vietnamese, but I think it is easy to understand what it means, e.g. birth day, height etc... I looked at the pix, but the actor is unfamiliar.

Sorry to say that. but episode 8 was, I stress again: in my opinion- the so far weakest. In fact, I did not get anything new out of this. Looks like some of these filler episodes in series in prepare of the big final end. It is still 6 episodes to go.

We know, Bohn is a bad guy and he apparently is jealous. I shipped him and Duen, they are my favourite couple. After ep. 8, I am in doubt. "You are my bf, you are not allowed to talk with others". Anyone who told me such a sentence was out of my bf list, yeah, out of my friendzone. A bf is not a slave. Bohn, you really need to work on your attitude. But that is not even the worst of ep. 8.

The episode does not fill in smooth. Come on, last episode "Yeah, we are together". Virtually ten seconds later they fight? Now, all of Duen's friends are against a relationship. It is true, they never were happy about Bohn. But no one was against them dating in ep. 5. Now, it looks just wrong place to be against all that.

The positive plot is that of King-Ram. I think, they will become the focus of the next 2-3 episodes. They match really well and their acting is still quite okay (well, Ram does not talk that much, doesn't he?)

The weakest point is that fight. Is it to get some action into the series? How can someone like Ram, a professional boxer, propose a fight with someone, who is not a boxer. That seems to be Thai humour, which does not work for me, unfortunately.

Ok, it is a sitcom/romcom and, therefore, we should not take all too serious.

It seems to be a guest actor with the name of Boom. I do not know why they went crazy about him on FB. Thank you for your reply :-)

A FB group posted a photo and some details. I am confused, because I have not seen anyone with this name. Will he appear in a later episode?

Thai is a tonal language. I do not speak it, but Vietnamese. I had the pleasure to observe a Chinese living in my neighbourhood. He tried to speak Vietnamese, but had to give up. The Vietnamese would not understand him. The tones are too different. I guess, here it is the same.

I was relieved when I saw that Frong and Tara will be a couple. They match even better than Frong and Duen. Although, currently the story is going too smooth, isn't it? I am afraid some unknown problems await those future-to-be couples. (I wanted to buy the novels, but they are sold out, so I do not know what actually happens).

Sorry to warm this up and reply to my own, but maybe some others are interested in the books, too. Actually, you can see the hardcover novels in episode 5, while Bohn is looking for the pychology books. The saleswoman puts them on the shelf, haha. Quite thick. I found them on Kinokuniya Thailand and Lazada, but all were sold out :(

You get a like for your honesty. I do not agree in all things, but King and Ram are, indeed, also not my favourites. However, I still can totally relate to Ram, because I was the same when I studied (long time ago, during medieval ages). In Germany, we had 13 years school until graduation. And even my "best" friend at school was not able to write a short essay about me for the year book, haha. Unfortunately, I had no "King" coming to me...

I am totally confused. I watched a kind of movie with the title Love love you, where Gun played the main role. Is that related to this? This looks totally different. What about all that fantasy stuff, magical rings and different dimension?????

Well, we do not know, but he seems to be quite strict. Is he police or army, actually? I could imagine he is quite conservative. But we do not know so far.

Has anyone some info about Phu? He is Duen's and Ram's friend, also a freshy engineer and appears now and then. I tried to find out his (the actor's) name, but he is not even listed above....

Thank you for this info. That explains some of my problems. I already mentioned that I think there is a bit of loss in translation. I thought that might be puns and other word games which are hard to translate.

There is not really a novel. The series is a mixture of several novels, I thought it were two, but WeTV was talking about three yesterday in an IG post.

They have also an app, where you can watch all their stuff, not only My engineer, but other series, too. The app is not available for all countries, though.
