Can King Zhou just leave her alone.???!!!!!! He makes me so angry. Men in this drama don't seem to realize that they are being antagonistic. Ugh!!! This drama shouldn't have made them fall in love so quickly, a slow burn with Xu kai and Yi Tong meeting every now and then would have been better. Because I'm annoyed that they are not together yet. I'm here for Xu Kai but he's basically nonexistent lol. :(
All this drama for him not to be the crown prince !!!!!!!!!! I wanted to off myself. Your saying YUREN WHO STAYED ON THE MOUNTIAN IS THE PRINCE ???!!!!! WHAT!!? The love plotline is lacking, and too many characters hate our main lead. This drama isn't well balanced. Even luolou sacrificed her life from him. And it ends like that ? The only thing keeping me going was the how I wanted to see the looks on there faces when he became emperor because he deserved it. However I lost all patience for the show after Luo Lou became a goddess (I cried so hard).
Was anyone else confused when Feng Wu and other people were still wondering about who the prince was with after he announced that he wanted to marry her? 1. On chinese valentine's day she was insecure about giving him her letter and wondered who he'd spend the night with. That doesn't really make sense since he had just told his father publicly that he wanted to marry her 2. During the fireworks show Feng Wu was listening to Yu Mingye play is flute and people stared wondering if they were together. Again this doesn't make sense because Jun Linyuan has made it clear many times that they are together.
My theory is that some of these scenes where ment to come earlier on in the story but we're changed because of the censorship. But IDK ??♀️. Did anyone else notice this?
I have only one thing to say: BAILING DIJUIN ITS ON SIGHT!!!!! If I ever catch Bailing / Hao Chen out in these streets I'm giving him one punch for every time he: interfered unnecessarily, gaslighted Xuan Ji, hurt Si Feng, was racist towards demons, and acted like he was anything else but a coniving little snake!!!!

Wow I have a lot to say Summary: Wu Jiayi was DONE DIRTY 1. The number one thing that took me out of this drama was the way that she looked. Makeup and hair : awful!! (THOSE BANGS?). Literally everyone's hair is snatched (Jonny Zang) and she looks like a hot mess?? Make it make sense? (What was the point of making that wig when she could use her natural hair as bangs???) Throughout the show I was debating whether she was pretty, only to realize that she just looked bad here and everywhere else she's literally stunning!
2. I see a lot of people complaining about her acting but it was quite good for her character. Yuolian is constantly battling against her feelings and her duty so of course she's not going to be that expressive. A lot of people complain when the FL is happy go lucky, but when she shows a realistic range of emotions y'all are mad? Her face literally tells it all.
3. I was invested in her mission because it's a struggle that I can relate to, however I did not need the blatant misogyny she faced in this show. Both in how her master treated her and how she was so dependent on other people. She's a fking saintess. She's extremely powerful so I don't understand why she's down after a single hit. I just want her to accomplish something fully by herself. Oh and I also need more information about the different clans and their history.
4. As much as I don't want to criticize her character I have to admit that she did a terrible job of hiding her identity. Maybe that's just bad writing though IDK.
5. I really hate when characters don't defend themselves. I get the need for an antagonist but if the show had any logic Cui Pian Ran shouldn't be able to get away with everything that she does.Literally she's getting people killed and is receiving no consequences?? She's hurting people that have high statuses and still getting away with it??? I know it's a drama but come on. I don't know how it makes sense to blame the ML for issues that she caused.
Lastly I really wanted to enjoy this drama and for the most part I did but there are so many unnecessary side plots and I wish they would just focus on the tension of the main romantic relationship. At least the romantic interwoven decently (ig)
