Just finished watching the last episode on express viewing and It was simply beautiful. For a moment I hated the Empress and wanted Gu Qian Fan to knife 🔪 her lol 😝.
Characters in this Drama are exquisitely well written and I feel like the female Director made a huge contributed to how engaging yet simple love story was.
The Dude who played Ouyang Xu character is such a rare talent, he killed this Role to a point where I loth him.
The Emperor in this Drama is really loving, gentle and kind. The cast for this drama was well chosen, another thing that impressed me was the line delivery. Loved the Ost music 🎶 as well. Will definitely miss Chi Yan and his foolishness 🤣 He Si’s personality and Sanning bravery and her spoiled brat Son 🤣
Definitely the best Chinese Drama I’ve this year.
P.S Am I the only one who noticed the Actress who plays Yin Zhang resembles Simon Gong the Guy who played Wen Keng Xi in Word of Honor?
Anyways, can someone recommend Dramas similar to this one ☝🏾

And here you are thinking you’re smart than me. When you can’t even comprehend what I said earlier, the pacing for this drama was just fine. Shao ting’s feelings for Xi Gu were not sudden, there’s difference between liking someone and being in love. Which you failing to understand here with your so smart brains. I wouldn’t necessarily say this was a bullying trope. Before Shao ting’s GF messed with XiGu, he only knew Xi Gu as book worm and really didn’t care much about him either until he retaliated as way to get his GF back. Ooh yes he slapped Xi Gu’s chest on the stairs and the security intervened, yes he closed the door 🚪 for him in order to delay his exams. I wouldn’t call this bullying but yes it was not a NICE thing to do.
As for doppelgänger we’ve seen those in many dramas across the globe there’s certainly nothing weird about it. Again you’re just a hater.
Your arguments are very lousy for a smart person. Please do us a favour and stop telling strangers they’re not smart enough when infact you know nothing about them. You could have just said am not a fan of this drama and scroll by.

I’m not a fan WXS, not interested in watching the Teenage love with Wen Rou either. I’m supposed to love Chou Fei but don’t know how to feel about his marriage with Lei Chun, he’s literally forcing her to love him and also what is it with the Hair 🤨.
Want bothers me the most that I know Choufei is predestined to be the bad guy, and I was excited for that but now, it’s Meeeeh!!! his relationship with Su Meng has always been fickle and that WXS is the last one standing. Honestly I’m just ranting right now!! I’m sorry I can’t take WSX seriously.
Can they just release all the episodes so that we can get done with. I don’t want to drop this drama.
I heard people where going bananas about this drama and I thought I should also check it out. I’m currently on episode 2 and already glued on my couch 🛋. It’s good enough to keep me going. Let me see if it lives up to the hype.

I’m really looking forward to learning more about Pan’er’s Parents. I feel like there’s more to it. I hope they’ll touch on that.
