Many in the list born before '92, so... maybe adjust the age ceiling... Or even better! Remove the "young" part and we can include mega stars like Kim Young-ok! ^^ 👍
First: Funny to read what/how ppl think about this matter. Personally I really don't give a fuuk if the villain is male or female, if they're hot or not. Sometimes the bad guy really makes me want to punch him in the face, same goes for the evil, evil female... For me, this hasn't got anything to do with their gender (and how either gender goes about being evil... because yes, I do think we differ in many ways), but with script, dialogue and if the actress/actor can act. If they make me wanna cease their existence, they're doing an awesome job! ;P Second: I'm also a guy, so my vote/opinion usually gets snowed under. ^^ Third... fav villain: Choi Yoo Jin (Song Yoon Ah) "K2" Peace! (dropping keyboard)
I like Yoon Sang Hyun as a support actor, not keen on seeing him as a main. Big fan of Kim Ha Neul though! Loved her in "...airport" and "Gentleman's..".
Ah... can understand the annoyance especially episode 9 end and 10 (mainly his reaction in front of the mural?).
Ohw... Honestly don't remember, but at some point he reacts so much like a peeved 5 year old that I stopped believing in the character more than should be the case with a drama. I can live with the weirdly/wrongly acted-out psycho-diseases, mentioned in other comments here (if the acting kinda suits/is good enough), but not this teenage bullcrap acting of "i don't like it, i don't wanna, whaaa!". ^^
I drop dramas when i get annoyed with the script, actor(s), production.. any thing can tick me off enough to chuck it in the bin.. after I gave it a fair change... at least 6 episodes!... (or 5 min. of the first). ^^ But I usually have a reason for dropping a drama. Lots of dramas I found fairly watchable (especially if there wasn't a good one airing), but somehow stopped watching. This cos something else came along but usually cos I left too much time in between episodes (so more like “Out of sight, out of mind”) and I couldn't be arsed to pick it up again. Not sure if that counts as "dropping". Maybe they should invent a different term for it (if there isn't one already)... like "disconnected" or "untangled"... "drifted apart". ^^
Dropped it after about 10 episodes. Kim Soo Hyuns character started to annoy me too much (mostly 'cause of the script/lines/etc, but also not a fan of Kim Soo Hyun)... Shame though.. could have been a good (-ish) drama.
Haven't watch a lot of Jdrama/movies, but the ones I did watch I enjoyed. They've got their own "rawness" to them, atmosphere. Like Italian or Norwegian movies totally have their own feel, so do i experience it with Japanese (compared to for ex Korean). Loved "Mother" (yes, the original of the Kdrama remake), but also action movies (even though they've sometimes got some over the top characters) like Ichi (2008) or Shinobi or really weird movies like Kokuhaku. Anywho.. Thx for the tips and info in your article! I'll be sure to check 'm out. ^^
The actors are doing a great job (especially Seo Ye Ji) , story is ok-ish, but script/lines falters from time to time... Not a fan of Kim Soo Hyun though.. and his character has some scenes that really makes me feel like punching him or the writers.. All in all: totally watchable series up till now
Yeay! "Hero" was on the bonus list. Love the play with colours and scenes in that one (and "House of..." + "Reign of..." in list too! Thumb!) ^^ Also, don't forget "Ichi" (2008), Shinobi (2005), Curse of the Golden Flower (2006) and those other super awesome ones that I totally forgot about! :D
You know? That feeling of reluctance, to watch the last episode of a drama, cos than it's over?.. Damn but this was a great drama... Awesome even. Great acting, brilliant directing and screenwriting... all in all a blessing to have been able to watch this. Thx!
I understand that for these top stars "normal" means something totally different. And alcohol does lower (social) inhibitions. But there's absolutely no excuse for harassment, sexual or other. And I'm quite happy that the drama is not much affected by his a'hole behaviour, cos looking forward to watching "About Time" (with Han Seung-Yeon and Lee Sung-Kyung!!) Off Topic; Check out the UK movie "About Time" (2013). Worth a watch!
Kim Woo Bin (Uncontrollably Fond), Yoon Gyun Sang (Rebel,..) and prolly even better once that don't come to mind atm. I'm more partial to women crying though. If there's a teary scene, they gotta be able to bring it (like, most recently, IU when she finally breaks, in ep.9 of "my mister"). Up till now, most heart wrenching is still search/chase scene by Han Hyo Joo near the end of "Always".
