I heard knetizens are being harsh since Key's mom is a nurse, saying things like should know better, but seeing he's a victim, I hope he can sue the clinic and the injection auntie.
I do find it strange I haven't heard of a lawsuit over this, since injection auntie probably scammed many others not just Key and Na Rae, and her clinic / hospital should be under scrutiny and be also held accountable. So maybe more people will be dragged into this.
Though I guess Na Rae is too swamped with dealing with the police investigating into it ,and her ex-managers suing her? So maybe the police are just keeping quiet until they find conclusive evidence that Na Rae was in the know... But I wish they would protect the victims more, it feels like they're being punished for being public figures & falling for a scam.
The Rebirth of the Malicious Empress of Military Lineage (same author for this show) ^^
Haven't heard anything new. I'm curious about the cast that will be chosen though, praying they're good though!!!
Yeah I'm worried on how they'll deal with the rebirth/past part, but having dreams of her past life would be easiest if that is even allowed..... but idk they better not disappoint at least lol
From what I understand from watching some dance youtube reactors, AG squad has reused some parts of choreo (like…
ikr. I think it's just easy exposure for the new Royal Family at the end of the day since no need to edit or spend to promote, but idk if exposure even needed since yeah they're the 'Royal Family'. Do feel like they don't have the experience of being on shows, which I hope this is a learning lesson for them to be more careful, like the name-calling remarks like Natalie Nun were uncalled for and as you said something they can control.
I don't know if they initially put in effort to win, but it does seems like enough effort in the dance battle to prove they were better than AG Squad...... So maybe joining just to prove this point which feels shallow but better than just for exposure >.<"
Oh yeah there was a post them mentioning that Mnet gave them bad slippery shoes making it hard to dance. So I just feel like once finding out they were being sabotaged at that point, they wouldn't give a F because Mnet is willing to injure them to make them lose and just make them lose regardless. They didn't sign up to be injured, so no way they'd be willing to be competitive and risk it.
How do y'all feel about Royal Family reusing choreography for the class mission? I feel like if it's a choreography…
From what I understand from watching some dance youtube reactors, AG squad has reused some parts of choreo (like signature move and opening) but give some twist so it's still a bit fresh, so I do give a benefit of the doubt that Mnet is choosing to give Royal Family the uncreative bad edit.. and just ignoring/hiding everyone else. But based on some comments who been following Royal Family, they haven't created new choreography since 2013 / rigged a competition.... so feels like this narrative was already set, and people are rolling on it. Like I think individually some members had promise, so probably it's just more of a disappointment the individuality of members isn't highlighted.
I feel like though they probably played it too safe in their comfort zone for the class mission draft with the limited time they had & used the excuse of staying true to Royal Family style to reuse choreography. They chose choreography already proven to be popular, easy for them to nail, and others could dance to, and seeing how the judges focused more on star quality rather than creativity (despite JYP saying it's one category he judged in battles )... probably didn't focus on being creative because it doesn't seem to win points with the judges.
Personally I am not familiar with Royal Family besides SWF2 Jam Republic, so was a bit disappointed to find out the choreo was not new & uncreative. But honestly, for a show that is rigged not in their favor, I don't blame them for not giving their all and/or not putting effort into an unfair competition.
Listen this could 100% be due to editing because we’ve seen it happen before but someone of these girls seem…
I think the snarky remarks have always been there because they always have to give good&bad comments on their competitors. But it's probably more prominent because there's less dance being featured, and Mnet is reusing the same comments to push the rivalries, so I think the repetitiveness just makes the remark stick as negative, and not something to be glossed over. So definitely think Mnet is editing to force fanwars.
But I do think the name calling, like Natalie Nun or Chucky's daughter, is not a good look & not necessary.
Also the anime/aeni of this series is in production and plans to finish in May of this year, so if this kdrama follows a similar trend of some other drama adaption releases (like the lot of the Netflix ones) then I am assuming both the aeni & kdrama will release around the same time.... hopefully later half of 2024
Oh I was reading some of the webnovel and webtoon the other day and am looking forward to this. But will keep my expectations low... as it is a long series, so I feel like lot of the story will be cut out
is time travel romance the new big thing in south korea or something? feels like every other kdrama has this boring…
2nd chance / restart / regressor themes been pretty popular for quite a while in the webnovel scene, probably due to the revenge + poor to rich + redemption aspects. And it's only been recent years that these popular novels are being adapted to dramas.
So I wouldn't say it's a new big thing, since there's already webtoons & anime out there with it, but dramas are hopping onto the trend later compared than other media it seems.
But I do enjoy this theme, just a shame these regressor stories seems to be butchered when adapted into a drama a lot of times due to the scriptwriters changing the story up & ruining it. So I don't have super high hopes of this kdrama atm, but will wait and see.
I was surprised they didn't put up a bamner on their front wall saying "Grand Opening" and also have photos of…
They didn't promote their opening in Youn's Kitchen too, I think not to overwhelm the cast especially since they don't have a huge dining /seating area (& I don't think they're aiming to do takeout tbh). Though in Youn's Kitchen 2, they did wind up on a local newspaper on like the last day so lots of people came but couldn't eat because they were full, so that may happen again?

.............. not sure which one it is but maybe it's due to the false advertising one? [youtube short explains a bit https://youtube.com/shorts/NLR2yRfBMKw ]
