The thing about this drama is that it is so poorly written. it feels like they filmed some random scenes and put them together without any coherency. the characters lack depth therefore when anything happens to them i feel no empathy- they could die and i wouldn't care.
Someone earlier complained about co-workers' scenes and I said I have no issue with their scenes and prefer them…
i find the co-workers quite entertaining and personally think they don’t need any back story. Atleast they’re actually contributing to the story and overall character development of the FL. HOWEVER, the ML ex coworker for example! I wonder what his contribution is lol. but I guess time will tell.
A few thoughts... There is something very chaotic and messy about the writing of this show?? almost like they forgot a few things- I.e the red hand. I feel as though they try to introduce or include some characters without establishing anything about them to then randomly place them in the episode without any real purpose. The back and forth personality of the ML is abit unatural and forced (don’t know if it’s supposed to be acted this way) the SFL is supposedly a main character but let’s be honest we barely see her, to a point her ‘relationship’ with the ML is nonexistent. it’s a fantasy drama but where is it? I could mention more things but hoping it picks up.
i'm glad this season didn't raise my blood pressure as the previous. but i was sad to see that there wasn't much of a happy ending- but i guess it wouldn't have been the most realistic outcome anyway.

It seems as though i've found my group of people! i agree with everything that was said by your guys comments. I usually love melodramas but this was the father of all melodramas- extremely slow to a point of frustration. It's disappointing because the cast is amazing, and i've seen the main leads in better roles- hoping that their next projects will be better.
It was such a fun watch! short and sweet and got to the point with no funny business. i would say it's a show where you shouldn't think too deeply about- a perfect escapist drama. The romance between the two leads was mature and full of chemistry - they certainly didn't hold back on the kisses.

I truly believe that Jung hwan was originally the endgame for dokseon, considering how they casted the older version to look like him. But perhaps during the middle of filming, they realised the popularity of park bo gum (he was VERY popular at that time) and switched it to please the fans.

Her straightforwardness and honestly was refreshing in comparison to the leads! The mess could’ve been avoided if they were just honest as the SML. and I agree with you about the ending. We went through all that for them to have an open ending??

Yes! I know everyone disliked her, but she was the most honest character in this whole series! She went after what she wanted, tried her best and moved on when it was over.
All i can say is FINALLY. IT'S OVER. The last episode got me feeling anxious, just waiting for them to finally get together to then have an open ending smh.. in my opinion the open-ending was leaning on the happier side- they talked about their regrets and all the what-ifs, and you can almost imagine what their relationship would've been like BUT i wanted to SEE this. we deserved to see them as a couple after this whole mess. lowkey wanted them to show a wedding photo at the end or something gosh.
Anyway, the comment section for this drama every week was a blast and was exciting to come back to- i will miss this- but onto better and hopefully happier dramas. <3
