loving the show so far, but the whole back and forth between timelines is really jarring at some points- mainly because i found Solomon’s part boring. And as someone who read the book, I still see why Solomon’s story is taking centre stage.
ok realistically she’d be dead after falling from that cliff, and I know in drama land they won’t kill off the fl, but atleast give her a broken bone or something??
Well, that video of the two directors wasn't enough for you to understand what impact the incident would have…
I fully understood what was shown. But I refuse to believe that this was the demise of the ‘white-witch’ who was calculative and crafty. We spent the better half of this series dealing with the backstabbing and a build up of their downfall, that all it took was a little ‘he said, she said’ from the leads to make them crumble. it was just unsatisfactory.
I felt as if something was missing. The ending seemed incomplete, and as I had 20 minutes left of the series, I couldn’t help but think maybe they planned extra episodes and not the usual 16. Surely they couldn’t have ended it without showing the downfall of the opposing hagwon and the teacher that left?… but apparently they did, leaving the overall drama unsatisfying for me. And although i loved the ‘politics’ in this drama. i wished we had more ROMANCE.
i wondering if it’s just me… I’m loving the cinematography and editing stylings of this drama BUT I feel like they’re cutting bits out. i want to see that fight between jun ho and that snakey teacher. i want to the kisses better too lol
regardless of what everyone is saying, I’m loving this drama so much. the cast, acting, and story etc is so great. ep 14 got me teary ngl. i felt every painful emotion the leads were feeling.
aaaahhh Sao is too busy feeling sorry for himself to even see the efforts of others! Though his feelings are very valid, him drowning in negativity and self pity isn’t helping- he is blinded to a point where he’s pushing his loved ones away. i was empathetic for the most part of the drama, but at ep 11 one would hope to see some character development, but the only thing that seemed to develop is my annoyance of him. He just became a dislikable character for me smh.
something about the pacing of this movie was off for me… almost like there were chunks of time just missing. it made the chemistry between the leads abit lacklustre, which is a shame considering that they are amazing actors... but overall, it was a decent watch. :)
