Suffers from hours of useless filler scenes
When I read the plot I wasn't really interested at first, but the very high ratings made me curious.The first few episodes were nice, but nothing new. FL and ML were OK, but I definitely preferred them in other dramas.
The supporting roles only serve for comic relieve, but in the most annoying way. I found myself skipped most of their scenes.
I think the middle episodes were the only time I was really hooked and then it spiraled in completely filler boredom. Like episode 13 was so out of pace, that for a moment I thought Netflix made a mistake and started a different drama. It picks a bit up after that, but I found myself using the skipping button every few minutes.
Especially the last episode was totally redundant and unnecessary. I only kept watching because I was sick and had nothing else to do. Otherwise this drama would have joined the growing pile of dramas that started strong-ish and after 2/3 just consists of of product placements or filler scenes.

Perfect from start to finish
This is the best, well rounded drama I've ever seen. The actresses/actors, storyline, soundtrack and something most kdramas have problems with, perfect pacing.It's not my favorite genre and I only have it a try, because I really like the work of the FL. The only reason I have it 9,5 stars instead of 10, is the chaebol son character was a bit over the top.

Aged quite badly
It's so slow paced, boring, incohearent, borderline creepy (age gap of centuries between FL & ML, that have no romantic chemistry in my opinion, more like teacher/student relationship), over the top cheesy OST, etc.After several attempts to watch this drama I finally dropped it. The raving reviews and amazing cast really made me try to watch it 3 times, but I never made it past episode 5.
There is really nothing I enjoyed about this show, but the talented cast. Which is not worth wasting several hours on. Maybe if I watched it when it was released I would feel differntly. I think if you don't look at it with nostalgic glases it aged badly.
