First off long story short. : do you like a BL that makes you feel but not hurt?
Now, so. What is it?
The most complete series I have ever seen. Bias alert. I just turned 40, after a divorce and literally moving back home to a small island town to start over. It hit me in the feels.
It’s methodical, and provocative, it’s heart wrenching and beautiful and so full of love. Sometimes all at the same time.
The actors are INCREDIBLE, the story is complex and yet so simple. Some may find it slow if the subject matter doesn’t speak to you.
But the story they tell is so, so, just so guttural so on point you can feel all the emotions and the weight of everything . The common theme of letting go, and moving forward carry’s from episode to episode.
It doesn’t give you jealousy, conflict, and forced tropes to still hit on all the peaks and valleys of a real life relationship.
This is one of maybe 5 queer Movies/shows/dramas that have made me go “oh god I wish I could forget about it so I could watch it all over again” I’m jealous of all of you who haven’t seen it yet.
If you like anything GMMTV has ever done (love me a fluffy BL I am not saying this as a bad thing)that isn’t maybe 1000 stars . This isn’t a show for you.
If you liked things such as HIS, restart after coming home, Love Tractor, Tokyo in April, our dining room table, unintentional love story, you will love
I love all of us here lol. “Oh yeah they were in the other BL together. I don’t remember it” yes because it didn’t leave us in puddle of pain and tears haha it didn’t traumatize us.
Acting seems fine credit to the cast BUT. This…..is….. just …. Not good. It’s like a cliche speedrun. It’s like it wants to be Not me, I feel you linger, be mine superstar and be my favourite all in one and it does none of those good.
An amazing gay love story, but not a typical BL.
