where can i watch this series? is it not on gmmtv youtube channel?
It's mentioned in the trailer. Cut version is on GMM25, and uncut version is on Netflix. My guess is they'll upload it onto YT after the entire series is out.
This series is off to a decent start. There are some areas where I'm like "huh" and "no way this happens irl," but it's only the first episode, so I'm gonna wait and see what happens. It did give me THK vibes, only instead of Dunk chasing after Joong, it's the other way around.
In Me and Thee? None.In Calm Down, Mr. Rome? There are a few...
There are two novels. Me and Thee is focused on Thee and Peach, and Calm Down, Mr. Rome is focused on Rome and Mhok. Only Me and Thee has been adapted into a series. There's nothing about whether GMMTV will adapt the second novel, too.
I really want to know why the parents don't allow their children to love anyone but are themselves married ??
I think there's some confusion with the way the series portrayed the parents. In episode 2, Mok said they're not allowed to love anyone because love is a weakness. Then, in episode 3, Thee's father said true love and true friends are what truly matters, but in episode 5, his mother told Rome they have to accept the fact that love is forbidden.
From the looks of it, their parents just want to educate their sons to be more cautious about finding the people they can love and trust, but went about it in all the wrong ways. Though I wouldn't be surprised if their mom already knew her sons are in love, which is probably why she canceled birthday dinner so they can celebrate however they want.
Their characters are more detailed in the novel. They're strict but very loving to their children. They pretty much accepted Peach as part of the family straightaway.
Omgggggg the end of ep 5 had me kicking my feet and squealing ๐๐ฆ such a funny, sweet episode. Iโm so happy…
I think the hate is aimed more towards the editing than the kiss itself. Like you said, the boat was rocking a lot, but the way they cut and paste the scenes together is just god-awful. Like, you'd think a big company such as GMMTV would hire better editors.
Whenever I see Peach holding back laughter and then finally laughing at Thee the drama queen, I feel like that's not acting. That's Phuwin genuinely trying not to laugh at Pond's antics and finally letting it out when the director tells him to do so.
In the novel, the brothers are actually very close, but yeah, the Rome/Mhok storyline is very different from Thee/Peach.…
Thee is the older brother, but he wasn't interested in taking over the family business, which is why Rome became the heir.
As for Mhok, he was an orphan. In the novel, his father, who was an alcoholic, sold him to a trafficking ring. He was taken to Russia, where he was eventually discovered and adopted by the Arsenis. Not sure who told you Mhok is being groomed to inherit the empire, but that's not true. Technically, he is the adopted son of the Arseni family, but Thee's father had intended to groom him to become Thee's right-hand man. He just didn't expect Rome to fall in love with him.
Jan and Sing were love interests in Cherry Magic. Apparently, they decided they aren't suited for corporate life, so they went into law enforcement. Now, one is a detective, and the other is in forensics (in Dare You to Death).
What's next? A series cross-over, long-distance relationship?

GMMTV's relationship chart gets more and more complicated every day. XD
