One of the better series adaptations out there
As I've said before, Thailand doesn't always have the best track record when it comes to adapting foreign dramas. I've seen them take some of the best Asian or western dramas and butcher them into a convoluted mess. However, with Ossan's Love, they've (sort of) redeemed themselves. Granted, it's not perfect, and there are some flaws that threw me off from time to time, but it's also campy, fast-paced and entertaining. I thought they did a good job balancing the original series and the implementation of Thai elements. You can tell the cast had a lot of fun filming this, hence the excellent character dynamics. EarthMix's acting are on another level. It's refreshing to see them star in something that doesn't involve them trying to survive in the countryside.
Overall, this is a good addition to the already popular Japanese franchise.
