The shower scene is just them face to face then one of them close his eyes as if theyre going to kiss but didnt and it was done in a funny way. Which aligns with the comedic approach of the episode from the beginning. They even add background music to it then cut it like in a parody kind of way. Apart from from this, theres not so much as an indication of "boys love" for the entire episode
The whole nolesting scene youre talking about is just a few seconds and not even the main focus. Its just there to progress through the story and It was done so, just enough for audience to get the idea then move on to the actual story plot. Besides, theyre actors and they are acting

Ayumi found out Kaga likes her and eventually fell for him too, when he supports her during the whole switch, quite literally the whole series
2ep in. Im really liking it so far, but i don't think i can bear with Ki Tae for much longer. He is so annoying, i get secondhand embarrassment just from seeing his face
