I agree with infinitely trapped in time for this timeline. But i believe that if takatoshi makes that decision, he wouldve branched off to another timeline (his new reality) where its possible as the many-worlds interpretation suggested. Different version of them, atleast, will have the reverse role where takatoshi is the one that knows about the whole situation. Oh yeah, youre right! Breaks my heart even more. Talking about changing timeline, i recall when he met 15 y.o. emi, she was in school. Does that mean he goes to her side that time? When she said she came to his side when she was 5. I imagined it like holiday travel to his timeline as opposed to fused together timeline.
What does she mean by "Theres only one condition to let the evil win. Good men doing nothing" in the last scene. The significance of it, like the deep meaning behind it? Who does she directed those words to? Couldnt have been the uncle, is it? is it lost in translation?

Knowing this, when i watched it again for a second time the next day, i was weeping the whole time, because i know what shes going through from the start. Such a cruel and lonely fate.
