Well only one thing to say, could have been better.. Was a bit predictable at times, and they tried to portray some characters as Smart/Intelligent, but some really simple stupid stuff happens once in a while..
Culture & Religion wise, in my country none of such romance is allowed. I wouldn't mind watching a series, since its fictional.. But to be honest, reading the whole article, and going through the comments, made me feel like the author has a crush on a step sibling.. 😂 Not judging anything, just a feeling I got from reading the whole thing..
Several novel to drama adaptions feature the novel's writer as the drama's screenwriter. Writers Gu Man (Love…
It's to be expected to be honest, if you see novels first usually get adapted to comics, they loose some of the stuff on the way, later the comics get adapted to series/anime, then there is another loss of huge plot/content from it. So the accuracy goes like Novel > Comics > Series.
Well, right now for K dramas. I think the top ones are Hot Stove League, Stranger, The Fiery Priest, Beyond Evil,…
Stranger is a masterpiece, enjoyed Beyond Evil as well, brilliant acting by the cast.. The Fiery Priest and Fight for My Way was also very good.. I haven't watched Dear My Friends.. Perhaps I will wait for The Veil to finish, as I never watch airing drama's.. Currently watching Duel, seems to have really good reviews.. but it's a slow start..
@Jeana, I haven't any of the drama's in the list, the reason I haven't picked them up is because there is some unknown hesitancy which makes me feel I won't enjoy them very much. Since you also disliked most of them, I would really like to see a list of your top rated dramas.. I feel I might get some interesting ones from there..
I love School/College dramas.. I don't specifically know why.. Shocking to see such a cost, all the students have ended up ruling the last few years on TV..
Very unique, had The Producer feels but this one was much better..
Haha.. I watched it already, and found it pretty interesting and enjoyable.. Thanks for the suggestion .. If you haven't watched Search WWW then do watch it as well.. It has similar vibes to Be Melodramatic..
If this drama was 12-13 episode long, the rating would be much higher and the reviews would be much more positive..
They unnecessarily forcefully dragged to make it a 16 episode drama. The whole thing turned out stupid, and went downhill!
People will forget the good things that happened earlier when what is fresh in their mind turned out to be really bad. That's exactly what has happened with this..
Anyhow, Go Ah Ra & Shin Eun Soo are so damn cute.. Go Ah Ra gave me the same feels as Kim So Hyun! <3
Have you seen people talking about 'Underrated' dramas? Then this should be at the top of the list.. Despite actually having 8.5 overall rating, I don't think it has the amount of viewers it should have.. I myself have had this on my drive for months, I was always about to watch it but never started it. What a well directed drama! Brilliant, so many positive messages, and overall everything is set very nicely. Not a single negative point about this drama from me..
I get why this has such a low rating.. So much promise, but failed to live up to people's expectations.. Except the water dragon effect, they havn't got anything else right visually.. The whole plot could have been a lot better.. Not good, not very bad.. Watchable onetime.. 8/10
I feel like this drama would be way better if they cut down HAR's crying by 95% and make her more smarter instead…
If the characters were too smart, then it would be hard to actually keep such a plot like this stretched, perhaps if this was a 3 hour movie, a smarter leads will solve and settle everything with a few tries. I agree there were many times when they could have done things differently, but that is what keeps the plot going, otherwise this would have to be wrapped a lot earlier. But personally I didn't find this draggy at all. To be honest, there are people like HAR in the world, who are a lot more emotional and gets easily driven by emotions and not their thoughts, so I think the character itself was not out of place.

Absolutely breath taking!
