Holy Shit! What a masterpiece! One of the best time related series I have watched. Perhaps an unpopular opinion, but this series was a lot better for me than Signal.
This looks so fuking good! Excited with the trailer! I love badass FL's.. Specially when they are able to beat the shit out of everyone..! This got Black Widow feels!

About it being unfair for Sun-oh, because JJ suddenly chose the shield, from the beginning of the story, it was unfair. Sun-oh knew his best friend had a huge crush on JJ, knowing it he still pursued it and fell for her. In a way the whole story could be called reaping of karma. In the end everyone ended up being happy one way or the other, they all developed, and learned a lot of lessons through out the whole mess.

Wow.. Loved the connection between Park Hyung Shik and Park Bo-young.. Similarly loved the connection between Han Hyo Joo and Lee Jong-suk.. Both of these pairs had a similar type of bond.. Will be interesting to see how HHJ and PHS turns up..
Don't delve too much into the ratings and reviews, it is what it looks like, a simple romantic entertaining comedic series.
Nothing is complicated, typical enjoyable Korean chaebol story similar to The Heirs. If you enjoyed that, you will also enjoy this for sure.
The female lead is amazing, main male leads definitely progressed very well throughout the series.
Small spoiler tip if you are doubting yourself after watching first few episodes: "Ignore the obsessive step sis character, she is irrelevant to the series as a whole, her parts get smaller and smaller towards the end."

Yes I agree, but as I said I just don't enjoy watching 'tragedy' stories, be it fiction or a real story.. Just my personal taste and opinion.. I do agree that the story itself was well written and very well directed.. Probably one of the best this year, the acting as well. I don't have anything against the story, and I know it involved real events and a lot of history, but as I am not Korean, and do not know the full details of the story, I was just enjoying it as a drama and not a documentary..
From episode one we knew how it was going to end.. The whole incident which took place during the later half, of innocents being killed by military.. That's the tragedy.. we knew one of the leads will probably not make it in the end..
I don't like watching tragedy drama's.. Hence despite it being a good one.. I simply didn't like it.. Go Min Si should be given more lead roles, she looks so natural and beautiful.. very realistic acting.. Definitely deserves awards for direction and acting...
