What a brilliant masterpiece... Choi Won Young just pulled off probably the best portrayal and most well written father character of all time in a kdrama! 10/10..!
Wow.. The true meaning of suspense.. You think you know what is happening, but it kept opening more and more, and there was no end it till the last moment..
The action and CGI were top notch.. Always love a badass female lead, but Park Shin Hye just ate that role.. Brilliant throughout.. The romance was meh, felt forced to be honest.
Don't always like shows which have different cases in different episodes because a KDrama isn't long enough for that many sub plots.. Probably why i didn't enjoy Tomorrow that much either.. But honestly the action in this made me rate this higher.
Definition of 'short and simple'.. Probably the simplest time traveling story i have seen. Nothing complicated, very straightforward, cute chemistry between the leads. 8.5, definitely worth watching, it's about a bit more than 2hrs so like a movie.
1. Ji sung is not the best actor in Korea but he might be one of the best. If you think he is than you might not…
I already replied to a previous comment, I don't usually watch historical dramas so i missed Empress Ki, Love Struck In the City is there downloaded in my drive, but i haven't gotten around to watching it yet. If You Wish Upon Me also on the list, i really like the lead pairings.
I don't know why some are taking it negatively, I just said i don't see him as the 'BEST actor in Korea', it does not mean I dislike him or i don't rate him, it just means I personally rate some others above him in terms of acting, and it's my opinion and my own judgement based on what i have watched. JCW is one of my favorite male actors in Korea, and probably the most highly rated action star imo.
Following are what i have watched of him: - Healer (Personally rated 10/10) - K2 (Personally rated 10/10) - Suspicious Partner - Melting Me Softly - Backstreet Rookie - The Sound of Magic - The Worst of Evil (Personally rated 10/10) - Welcome to Samdal-ri (Personally rated 9.5/10)
I agree with your first point but I think Si Wan deserve to be highest among his generation actors. As for Seo…
@ali
Seo Ye Ji is someone that often makes you go like.. "Damn she really pulled off that character insanely good.." Shin Eun Soo in Twinkling Watermelon, made me feel the same as Seo Ye Ji.. Like you know no one else can pull it off as well as them.
Personally very few actresses make me feel that, maybe because i watch less Melo Dramas.. My main genres are RomCom and Thriller. Often times on thrillers the story is rarely focused around FL lead. Romcom's are hard to judge acting skill.
You can’t go around talking about an actor like you’ve watched most of his/her movies or dramas. No wonder…
I don't know if you were referring to me or someone else in the replies.. What I have watched of JCW so far is,
- Healer (Personally rated 10/10) - K2 (Personally rated 10/10) - Suspicious Partner - Melting Me Softly - Backstreet Rookie - The Sound of Magic - The Worst of Evil (Personally rated 10/10) - Welcome to Samdal-ri (Personally rated 9.5/10)
I don't usually watch historical dramas, so perhaps I have missed a few on your list. JCW is one of the best action stars. I prefer him more in action roles than in romance.
Because it's really hard to judge acting in romantic roles, specially if it's not a heavy/melo type drama and more of romcom.
Recommend me some S.Korean ones..
No unnecessary stretching, full out action! Waiting for S2.

Don't like cliff hanger endings with possibility of an extra season.
